Los Generales

We frequent here quite often. I love their crispy tacos cheese enchiladas, and queso. My husband loves their tamale plate and street tacos. The staff is always welcoming, super friendly and attentive.

It was horrible. I ordered my drink and the bartender disregarded my order. I ordered food. And it came out salty and undercooked. Needless to say, I sat at the bar and after I ordered my drink I never saw him again. I would not refer this place.

Great Mexican restaurant, the Margaritas are not for the light hearted, they pack a punch. The staff are always very friendly and service is great.I have never had a bad meal and the salsa rocks, what I love is they have "Lovestreet" on draft, and the price is really reasonable, even better if you catch happy hour.With so many options out there this is my go to Mexican restaurant.

Really good fried fish or shrimp tacos. Chipotle sauce puts it over the top. Frozen gold margaritas are really good too.

We are currently located in one of the busiest streets in the area with loads of restaurants to choose from. Who wouldn't want to be here?A few weeks ago we decided to order mexican food for dinner. Since we aren't familiar with which restaurant serves the best food, we picked one that serves "chimichangas," my hubby's favourite mexican dish. It just happened that out of the 5 major mexican restaurants in the vicinity, Los Generales is the only one have this dish on their menu. We called in an order for pick up. We were amazed at how good the food tasted, the portion of food on the plate, and the combination of dishes that it came with. Right then, we put this place on top of our list as our favourite mexican restaurant. I am thrilled to say that lunch was great! The staff were very accommodating and had a great sense of humour! The place has a wonderful atmosphere...i would love to visit for dinner sometime and see just how the place comes to life If you haven't given this place a visit...do so, you will not regret it.

Stopped in this place a few yrs ago out of hunger and convenience. I'm a fool for Mexican quisine so this place was close by. The overall ambience could use some updates but the service is excellent and the food is fantastic. After that visit, I took my husband the following week, then a month later we welcomed the kids. This has been our GoTo for the past 4 years now. Parking is convenient, wait time is quick and the entire staff caters to your every need. I've noticed some improvements to the website and menu, so I am hopeful that the furniture and overall look will improve soon. Whether they do or not, me and my family are customers for life!

I've never had a worse experience with a restaurant in my life. I took a large order home worth $196 and not one of the meals was edible. The chicken fajitas had the worst rubbery texture, the ground beef enchiladas were bland and cold but the worst was the beef enchiladas. I opened the container and it smelled like rotting beef. I checked with the entire family to make sure I wasn't going crazy and they confirmed that the beef was spoiled. I turned around and went back to the restaurant where they exchanged the beef fajitas for 2 cheese enchilada plates. I was grossed out but was happy that they at least tried to make it right by exchanging the meal. However that was short lived because when I got home, I found a hair wrapped up in one of my cheese enchiladas. I was throughly disgusted at this point and went all the back to return both enchilada plates. I did not expect to have the entire meal comped but they only gave me my money back for the one enchilada plate which wouldn't even pay for the gas that I used to go back and forth to the restaurant twice. It's sad because this restaurant used to be really good and now they are charging El Tiempo prices for poor service and inedible food. Do not waste your money or time here!! You're better off eating at Taco Bell because at least their service is good and their food is edible.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I am never one to complain about food or service. This was Horrible first experience service was terrible waitress only checked on us 1 time the entire time. Never got a drink refill and the plate was picked up when I was in the middle of feeding my child with the fork in my hand. We were the only Hispanics dinning there and the waitress seemed to pay more attention to the predominantly white customers. Las Flores on stubener is way better food wise and service. I also scrolled the the reviews and noticed there seems to be some racism at this facility.

This is a hidden gem for good Tex-Mex. Service is good, prices are reasonable and food as well as margaritas have not yet disappointed on several visits!
