Los Cucos Mexican Cafe - Fall Creek

Decided to come in for happy hour on a Wednesday after work. Happy hour is all day Mondays and Tuesdays. Also Weds-Friday 2p-6pm. House margaritas are $5 for a regular and $8 for a large. The Gold Margaritas aww $6 regular size and $10 for large. House wine $4.50 and draft beer for domestic is $3.50 reg $5 large. The imported beer is $4 regular and $5.50 large. The energy is good so far definitely a place u can go alone. The ambiance is cool lots of windows with plenty of light. You only get Happy hour at the bar. My margarita is strong. I forgot to talk about service. Well the bartender was cursing and talking about something she was unhappy about with another coworker which I thought was very unprofessional. In addition she didn't place napkins under my drink or offer silverware with my meal. She seemed a little rebusy or overwhelmed which is what I'm not use to at other Los Cucos locations. I definitely would like to come back out not sure if I could go to this location. As a food critic that travels places and provide opinions to others I'm unsure if I could recommend this location. Working in the service industry for twenty years my waitresses service was not it. Another person told me that she has been here and messed up there bill the last two times. They said she doesn't check on her people/ patrons. I haven't never not left a tip but I'm afraid she may do something wrong on my card. If I come back I will tip her double let's hope she improves.

Larger than it looks with great service.This was my first time here so I wasn't sure what to expect. You get tortilla chips and two salsas to dip in . The red one is not such, which was refreshing, and the green is thicker than in other restaurants. They're both good.I got the mojito, which was good, not too sweet. The people next to us were having the ceviche which looked good. For dinner I tried the Mexican bowl, which is what you can normally get at Chipotle but much better. It wasn't spicy, which is great and has a sauce you can add on the side. The guac and cheese give it a nice moisture. The chicken is flavorful but a little dry. It's pretty filling for a good price.I also got to taste the carnitas on the el sabroso, which was also tasty.Overall the place is large and not crazy busy, the service is good and attentive. We'll definitely come back.

I don't think I would like to go back to this restaurant. We were a party of 10 and had an issue with them charging us alcohol taxes to each ticket when none of us drank alcohol and it was because we ordered Mexican aguas frescas (fruit blend water) We talked to manager and she rudely said that's what they do, so they charge you regular taxes AND alcohol taxes. So if you think about it all customers are charged alcohol taxes even though a lot of us don't consume it. So they are making lots money of that, which at some point it's illegal because is not written anywhere. So I wouldn't recommend going to a business with poor management and doing bad businesses masquerading fees to customers to increase profit.

This review is for catering/take-out only. We had Los Cucos cater a business meeting for us. I'm a Los Angelino and as such, I'm used to California style Mexican food. Tex-Mex as you well know is a bit different. The food here was outstanding -- from the breakfast tacos to the chicken and steak fajitas. The catering crew were super friendly - everything was made from scratch -- from the pico de gallo , to the guacamole, to the salsa, to the tortillas. I ate SO much food.......it was some of the best Mexican food I've had in Texas. I give them two big thumbs up. The tortillas are truly to die for - so doughy, so thick.......

I've been here a couple times. The best time to come is during happy hour. The food is good, great flavor, generous portions for happy hour price. Service is good . Margaritas are good, they could always be stronger though. They play good music.

I wish I could give this restaurant a 3.5. The restaurant is nice and seems clean. The Chimichanga I received was drizzled with queso. It seems cheap that they didn't cover it with queso and considering the prices, they should of. The beans seemed like they might have been from a can. The rice and the chips and salsa were really good. overall this is a decent restaurant in the area.

Had a good time eating here. Prices were higher than most mexican restaurants. Food was great. Place was a little loud. They were busy but the music was up a litle too much. ESPECIALLY on the walk in, like a concert loud, yikes!!! We almost left.

The food is consistently good although admittedly I rarely deviate from my usual order so I can't speak to any specialities or menu changes. My dining partners give the alcoholic beverages a thumbs up. Have yet to check out the brunch but it appears to be really popular on Sundays. My only complaint is that sometimes online orders take much longer than they state (upwards of 30 more minutes) and it is imperative you check your order because it just may be wrong or missing something if you don't.

This is probably among my top 2 favorite restaurants in the Greater Houston areas. I was with a large group 15-20 ppl. The service was excellent. Our servers were very attentive. I love that this is a restaurant you can still split checks and only pay for what you ordered, plus tip. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good too!

Their stuffed avocados are my favorite in the area! Love to go here with my family or for happy hour with my coworkers.
