Good portions of food. Excellent customer service, a little pricey for some things. But their food is worth it, and delicious.

The food was great. service was ok. but there were two young ladies(employees) a short hispanic girl and a white girl that caught my eye they seem suspicious I was sitting next to the restroom and I saw something I wish I didnt. one of them was giving to the other what appear to be some kind of pill. want to say it was drugs by they way they were acting trying not to let anyone see them or get caught. then she left to the restroom.i had seen thru out my stay that they seem agitated and kind of hostile towards other employees to the point of screaming to one another my worry is that the lady is pregnant and if their employees are doing that in front of the restaurant I dont wana know what they do in the back. will not be coming back to this restaurant. was not a pleasant stay I did not even finish my meal.

Ribs were ultra dry. Took 40 minutes for a beer but the chips and salsa were great, worth $90 on the bill. First and last time, first restaurant after quarantine, rather stick with McDonald's.

Favorite place in town! great staff, great food, great margaritas. All I want to eat are taquitos now. Everyone seems friendly and food came out in a timely manner.

I grew up in El Campo and every time I go back, I have to have Los Cucos. It's greasy and delicious. I love it!

After they got into trouble by our health dept (salsa on the floor, moldy food, unsafe temps) we have not been back! We go to Jalapeños. Great food but much cleaner place!!

The food was great. Our party of four all had something different. The staff were all very friendly. Clean restrooms. Lots of parking. Will visit again.

I have been a fan of (at least some) Los Cucos restaurants. But I am not a fan of all of their restaurant locations. Suffice it to say that quality control in the Los Cucos chain is VERY uneven. I've stopped going to the Los Cucos located in Conroe, Texas due to finding too many unwanted surprises in my food (bits of plastic, bits of bone and lots of gristle). The Los Cucos in El Campo is another example of uneven quality control in the Los Cucos restaurant chain. The food here was good, even very good. There were no inedible or disgusting surprise additives found in the food. That was the good news. The bad news was that this Los Cucos is apparently not located in a "no fly" zone. I believe the management at this Los Cucos should consider implementing a "no fly zone" policy similar to the highly successful "no fly zone" program pioneered by U.S. Armed Forces during the Iraq war. In addition to the flies, there were a few dead cockroaches on the floor near our table. Although dead, one of them was enormous. Call me fastidious, but cleaning the floor in a restaurant every now and then would probably be a good idea. It might even improve their Yelp ratings!

We don't eat at this location for so many reasons. Check their most recent Official Health Inspectors grade before eating here is all I'm going to say. We make the short drive to Wharton and eat at the Los Cucos there.
