Los Caporales

We came in, literally minutes before they closed, after driving down from Dallas. Despite our horrible timing, the staff greeted us with smiles and were ready to serve us a sit-down dinner. We decided to do a to-go order. They quickly took our order and the food was ready fairly quickly as well. Food was ok, nothing special. But what they lacked in food, they made up for in spirit. While we were waiting for our food some of the staff/owners started playing the guitar and singing. The atmosphere was warm and not one did they make us, or the other two full tables of customers feel like we should be gone since they were closing. They instead encouraged the customers to join them in singing/dancing. If we're in the area again I'd stop by to try other things on the menu.

Ran errands nearby. Got take out. Since enchiladas are so delicious we ordered enchiladas. Got enchiladas with a yellow cheese sauce. And chips n queso. Again great customer service. A real nice server gentleman. Not busy. We don't live nearby. But when we can, we stop by. Highly recommend

First thing; they request/required a face covering upon entry. No problem. The hostess/cashier took my drink order right after seating me. I was excited to get the lemon on top of (I got my drink in a to go cup)and not inside my tea. A FULL PAGE for their lunch menu; not just half a dozen choices. I opted for the Señorita; my idea of a perfect TexMex meal. The guacamole was perfect; not mixed with a bunch of things; just simply seasoned smashed avocado. The ground beef in the taco was super tasty and well seasoned. The hot plate arrives and , well this señor(it)a is wondering how I'm going to eat all of this food. Rather than discussing each individual item; I'm just gonna say it was all fresh, hot and tasty. OMGosh I forgot to mention the chips and salsa; chips warm, not overly salted; salsa served warm; not hot and it's a perfect blend of a little smoky and a little spicy. A flavorful addition to the meal. The staff were all very attentive and kind. I will definitely eat here again when I'm in the area. Ohhhhh, I gave it the old college try, but I couldn't finish it all. It's a lot of food for the 10$ price tag for that lunch plate!

Service was good every attentive and friendly BUT the food was more Tex-Mex rather than authentic Mexican food, and the salsa needed a bit more flavor as well as the main dishes needed a bit more flavor

Worst place ever food was expired I threw up my quesadilla after I tasted even the horchata waste of money the meat was Soo nasty the tortilla smell Soo bad

I swing by at least once a week and pick up to go food always fresh and plentiful at a great price! Super fast as well, very convenient.

Love this local neighborhood restaurant! We've been coming here for years, simple good food at great prices!

Can't believe I just recently found out about this Mexican Restaurant. I go at least once a week and the food and drinks are always on point and flavorful. The owners are super friendly and make you feel like you're at home. Uncle Gilbert is the best!!! Beef fajitas beef enchiladas salsa cucumber margaritas is what I can recommend!!!
