Lorenzo & Sons Pizza

I hen in Philly and craving pizza, you need to stop at Lorenzo And Son's!The sauce is on the sweeter side and it's one of the biggest slices you will get anywhere. If you want a challenge: grab a slice and go up the street to Jim's and get a cheesesteak and wrap the slice around it...you now have the infamous Philly Taco!

For the size of a slice alone!! Decent pizza too. Tasted good, handed to you quick, fresh and hot. Great way to go on South Street. Here's a tourist move - do the Philly taco! Head down to Ishkabibble's, order a cheesesteak and roll it up in a slice of pizza. Don't think about it, just do it!!

Great pizza! The place is small, nothing fancy, friendly service... serves cheese pizza as a pie or by the slice. The slices are massive, taste great, and have a crispy thin crust. Not much more I can say except go get a slice!

Me and my family ordered a 28" pizza without realizing it was going to insanely huge! Definitely can share with 7-8 people. One huge slice is more than enough for me. The sauce was sweet and the added topping of sausage wasn't too salty, it had plenty of cheese and a soft pizza crust it was delish!

This is a long-standing pizza spot on South Street. Take out only. Huge, tasty cheese slices. A go-to for late night pizza in the area because it's open until 3 am. and cooked fast to order. Cool area to walk and see shops and the South Street Philly staple. I subtracted 2 stars due to the menu being limited to only cheese slices or a 28-inch, $42 pie. $8 for 1 topping on a pie. Efficient service. Stop here for a late night slice or in the daytime for a South Street staple.

Slice price has essentially doubled since my last review. There is definitely better pizza in Philly but I still get nostalgia eating a huge slice here. I remember I used to be able to finish a slice but not any more. No more parm to add to pizza either. I added a bunch of garlic to mine though. Still cash only and definitely no seating. At one point that had a place for you to at least stand inside, but that is no more. I took a star cause they literally have made this the most bare bones place. It was definitely better 10 years ago.

Absolutely one of the BEST pizza places in the entire city and I'd say eastern PA. It's greasy, flimsy and so damn good!Nothing better than walking around down south street people watching and ordering a slice at their walk up window. The slices are HUGE.Service had always been fast and decent. A+++!

surprisingly yesterday was my first time coming to lorenzo's and the pizza itself did not disappoint. top 2 slice i've ever had and i say that as a lifelong jersey resident. yes they're a bit more expensive but it's well known the slices are massive so you absolutely get what you pay for. unfortunately, my fiancée's piece had a hair on it but the man behind the counter immediately apologized and came out with a new 1. the service was fast which i appreciate, though it definitely had to be with the way it's set up inside. there's a kitchen, a counter, and a door with little to no room to wait in so there's almost always a line outside. there is a 100% chance i will be back and i hope after a few hairless slices i can update my review to 5 stars.

We truly only went here because our sons name is Lorenzo and we were attending a concert across the street. The slices were huge, yummy and quick! We were served and greeted immediately upon entering. Hot, fresh, pizza, immediately. They take cash only, there's no bathrooms from what I could see and a small standing bar area only. We ate our pizza in a box on the street. Not ideal but yummy. I saw a line out there when we left the concert and saw they're open till 3am! Definitely a post bar spot I'm Sure! Id recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The pizza slice was outstanding! Crisp and flavorful! It was perfect sitting in the outdoors and eating the Italian pizza!
