Long John Silver's

Very frustrated. LJS is a staple of my childhood. I'm used to crispy fried fish, shrimp, and clams with a light golden crust and white flaky fish inside. However. I ordered 1 fish 4 shrimp and a side of clams. I got 4 clams and no fish. I went back to the drive thru window and no one would come to the window. I honked and waved, they looked me in my eye, and ignored me. I went back to the speaker box and told them I was missing my fish. As soon as I approached, she already had the fish out of the window and said, "He gave your six shrimp not 4." I said well that's not what I ordered so I'll give you back the 2 shrimp. She slammed the window on me and walked away. I get home and everything is BROWN with holes all in the batter. Old oil. The meat is tough to chew and basically inedible. I asked for cocktail sauce and they gave me honey BBQ. This is the only LJS around and I'm so sad I can't come back. Very disappointed they ruined this for me.

After MANY MANY MANY MANY years, LJS is still the same! Crispy, smooth, thick yummy fish. This wasn't over greasy, freshly cooked, fries just warm but ok. Can't beat good fast food fish. The prices are YIKES through the roof, 2 pieces of fish, fries & drink $9 was a bit steep for fast food I think. I could see $7 but almost $10 yikes!

Just isn't the same as it used to be. Slow service, expensive as hell for some fried fish that was overly fried and tasted greasy! Won't be back.

Food was ok but kinda expensive. It's been years since I last ate from Long John Silvers. And it just wasn't that tasty. There's no kind of discounts! I'm both a veteran and a senior.

They just can't get this order correct. Then had to send my drink back because it was half way full. I'm going to DQ to get some better food!!!

I've eaten at this chain many times...so when I saw this outlet in Spring, TX I stopped in....there are not many of these anymore. I ordered a two piece fish with coleslaw. The mix tasted old...wasn't fresh...highly onion flavored. I ordered a side of three shrimp. Don't see it in the basket, so I told the lady at the counter....she said "yes, you got it, I packed it myself" (place wasn't busy, so I bet she did). But, when I went back to my table....again I didn't see it. I did see another item...tasted like an old chicken strip...was this shrimp? Don't think so. Food...ok...fries old...won't be back. I think this may be why this chain is losing ground....

Seems that they wanted to cut corners by cutting the serving in half, the fish and chicken are cut in half and when you call the restaurant no one answers (during service hours) the phone

This location gave me great service and hot food that looked fresh.When I entered this store there was a manager just out of behind the counter. He was more concerned who was on his phone. Leslie A acknowledged me and she even had a smile. I ordered my 8 piece fish meal. She asked me to wait a minute and it only took about a minute and a half.Leslie A was a fresh face to talk to and that includes many restaurants. But, Long John Silvers, you have made me believe again.

I was at the Long john silvers in odessa on 42nd st. And there was cussing and yelling from some man behind the counter named rumaldo from what i understood he was cussing at the woman norma also behind the counter. Then came in normas boyfriend and punched the guy behind the counter. I diddnt realize this place was so ghetto. Such a shame now that we only have 2 locations left here in odessa. I decided not to order anything and left. Ive always vome to this one because i live right behind the building. But i will be letting everyone know. This was yesterday afternoon . On July 21st. 2023

Love the New England style beer battered fish and chips! Need one in Beaumont or Midcounty!
