Lone Star Taco

Tacos were decent but the language barrier between counter and kitchen made my order a little wrong. Not too worry, tacos were so enjoyed by all.

This is my go to taco spot!! You really can't go wrong with any of their tacos, but my fav at the moment El calabozo- it's fried avocado and black beans 10/10. If you like spicy ask for the habanero sauce. For breakfast I love the old Betsy!If you order togo check your order. They almost always get togo orders wrong.

The tacos are good. Speed of service is mediocre. Staff is indifferent or rude, mostly unsupervised teenagers, but the occasional adult there might as well be a child by the way they act.

Nestled in the NE corner of a strip center on the NE corner of FM 1488 and 2978 find friendly, fast service and great tacos in a no frills, rustic decor with CW music.I chose the manager's favorites: Greenhorn (shrimp) and Hawaiian (teriyaki chicken). Both respectively delicious with ample toppings of pickled onion and cilantro.Sorry. Ate them before photos!

NO STARS!Not one single person (staff) was wearing a mask. If they don't care about my safety. I'm out!I'm very disappointed because I love their food.

When I went to the restaurant I really loved the food and service they gave me. I think that it is really one of the best taco shops in Texas and I recommend it to people that have a desire for Mexican cuisine and I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.

Food, variety of flavor and creativity of various tacos is excellent I just can't keep coming here any more. Over time the portions have shrunk. Very disappointed in even basic tacos like the bacon egg and cheese, portions are like half they were and it's expensive. Not paying $3.35 for what ends up being a 1/2 tacoNo thanks

Food was great, the variety in the flavors complimented each other and the service was great! They constantly made sure I was ok and fine. And the Ambience calmed me very much. It felt like a sunset to me.

Bacon and chorizo tacos were amazing! Did not enjoy the jalapeño sausage as it had more of a Canadian bacon type of culinary experience. Tortillas were good, cheese was perfectly melted. The spicy salsa was AMAZING. One comment: at $3.50/taco they should up the egg content from 1 egg to 1.5 egg. Very little cost, but meaningful addition for customers.

My child has a teacher that sent home a Christmas List for the kids to buy her gifts that she would like, and Lone Star Taco was on the list. I stopped in a few days ago to purchase a gift card and was told "we don't do that." I find this absolutely ridiculous. I mean, welcome to 1982!!! I then explained the situation and asked if there was any way to purchase a meal as a gift and was offered a Christmas discount card where you get a free meal after you purchase several meals. Please bring your store out of the stone ages. In my opinion the food is moderately whatever, the service is slooooooow, and the price is high.
