Lombardi Cucina Italiana is a true gem nestled in uptown. Its classy, spacious, and bright modern interior sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. While the layout impresses, it's the food that truly steals the show. Each dish boasts fresh ingredients and is expertly curated, delivering flavors that exceed expectations. And let's not forget the desserts - the lemonello and Baked Alaska are simply phenomenal, each offering a delicious finale to a memorable meal. Lombardi Cucina Italiana is a must-visit for anyone seeking top-notch Italian cuisine in an elegant setting.

Dined in on Valentine's Day with reservations at 7 pm and was seated immediately. We were seated at the indoor patio area behind the bar. The table was tiny and awkwardly situated. My boyfriend's back faced the bar. I'm sure it was because of Valentine's Day. Not the best seating for two. We had a wonderful Valentine's dinner experience, and grateful there was not a prix fixe menu!I can't wait to visit again and try other pastas! We ordered:Bread service: complimentary and was DELICIOUS! Fresh focaccia bread served with this tasty tomato paste and olives. Frittura di mare: the best we've had in a while! Squid, shrimp, and fish was so fresh and crispy. The dipping sauces complemented the seafood well. Truffle fries: strong truffle taste and smell, crispy goodness!Tagliolini & Tartufo: I love a good truffle pasta, and this was one of the best I've had. Not too salty and the cheese butter sauce was so creamy. Colorado lamb scottadito: we asked for medium rare but it came out medium well. It was still very good, seasoned to perfection. It came with creamy mash and broccolini which is rare. We TORE IT UP!HERS cocktail: our waiter suggested this HIS and HERS special cocktail of the night, HERS was a French 75 with a black cherry syrup, NOT GOOD.

INCREDIBLE!! Easily my new favorite Italian spot in Houston. The food was fresh, so good, and I could not stop trying everything! Definitely go in a group so you can swap and try all of the delicious meals! And our server, Courtney was incredibly sweet and kind. We definitely will be back

The ambience was great, and the service was top notch. Many staff members came by to check on how we were doing which felt very good. The broccolini wasn't cooked too well aside from the broccolini everything else was amazing. Would highly recommend this place again. Next time I come I'm definitely gonna be trying the pasta.

It was fun! Loved making a night of it with dinner and drinks in the lounge/speakeasy after.Decor is beautiful and the vibe is upbeat and upscale. The bar area is huge and very active. Patio looked nice. I thought all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful although our actual waiter could have been more attentive and interested in our experience. Food was ok/good. Cacio and Pepe salad was lacking in flavor but very good once we got more seasoning. Bread was delicious. The pesto pasta was nothing special and I wouldn't get it again. Risotto was very acidic with only 3 scallops ($40). Lots of guests were getting the tableside dishes so maybe that's the way to go for entrees. The speakeasy route was fun and entertaining. Loved the live music. Great addition to the Houston scene that bridges a gap.

Delicious food. Gorgeous ambiance. Good service. Not every dish we had was a winner but most were very good and there were a couple standout dishes that will make me rush back. For appetizers, our table shared the beef carpaccio, prosciutto & burrata, and frittura di mare (calamari). All three apps were super good but the beef carpaccio was something else. Definitely a must order. As entrees, our table got the tagliolini & tartufo, rigatoni alla vodka, and the spaghetti allo scoglio. The tagliolini & tartufo they make tableside in a giant cheese wheel and then shave on truffles - it was absolutely amazing. It comes with a hefty price tag ($48) for no protein but it was worth every bite. I would get this dish over and over again. The rigatoni alla vodka was good but the spaghetti allo scoglio was lacking - noodles didn't soak in the seafood flavor and the seafood was over cooked. For dessert, the limoncello was a standout - very light, nicely balanced, and refreshing on the palate. The monte cristo had good flavor but the pistachio tiramisu was a miss - wish they just had regular tiramisu. Also wish they had panna cotta, which is my favorite Italian dessert. Our server was attentive during the meal and a couple other people also stopped by our table to check on us multiple times. I also like that they have a parking lot here and it's not all valet. Overall a great experience. We will be back.

This was my first time at Lombardi. My guest had been a couple of times and spoke so highly of the place. Our server (before moving to the bar), Red, was exceptional. He shared the history of the restaurant and its various locations in Texas, plus gave my guest and I a tour and introduced us to the chef. Even our bartender (brunette) was friendly, informative, and accommodating. The entire experience was lovely, but kudos to Red for exemplifying 5-star service. It's only because of him that I would go back to Lombardi again and again.

This beautiful Italian gem in Uptown Park provided the perfect after-work dinner spot for me and my friends. The decor's light, creamy tones were an elegant, airy backdrop to delicious bites like Carciofi & Zucchini Fritti, Frittura Di Mare, and savory focaccia with olives. For entrees, one of us raved about the spinach ravioli, and two of us died and went to heaven as we indulged in the rich and sophisticated Tagliolini & Tartufo. This dish was simply divine. We were too full of for dessert. The hostess team was welcoming and friendly. Service at the table was efficient albeit a tad lukewarm,

Walked in on a Tuesday 7 pm asked for an outside table for two. Plenty of tables available. Denied. Went around the corner and had a lovely dinner at a restaurant which appreciated my business. Went by Lombardi after and saw same amount of available tables. One and done.So my wife insisted we give it another shot. Let's just say if you're over 30, might not be for you. Co-ed restrooms to boot which could be the most uncomfortable experience ever in Houston dining. After graciously allowing four females standing behind me to use the facilities first, I went next door to another restaurant to pee.
