Pretty good Vietnamese place! We both got Pho. It's a small spot. There seemed to be one guy dealing with the whole front of house, - I don't feel like we waited too long though. The inside of the restaurant was pretty nice. Had pictures of vietnam on the wall. The Pho was pretty solid. Solid choice.

I came here for an event hosted by my work place. Sam, the owner, was so nice and generous with us. He was so patience with us and did his best to accommodate all our orders and getting it out in a timely manner even though he was the only one there. The hot soy milk was a classic but Sam's avocado smoothy was so rich and creamy! Such a sweet treat! The fried spring rolls and fresh summer rolls were so good. The peanut sauce and the fish sauce really added a burst of flavor to the already amazing rolls! I ordered the pho special. The broth flavor was so good! I got the regular size BUT there was so much pho that I had enough to split it into 2 meals. Huge plus, besides being an awesome chef and human, Sam is also an amazing community advocate. He's on the front lines of all the protests to protect Chinatown from the Sixers arena and opens his restaurant up for advocacy groups/workshops. It's really easy to support someone like that! Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend that you try it out too!

Casual intimate little spot in Chinatown. Service here so great. We were immediately greeted and seated by the owner. Great conversation about activism going on in the Chinatown neighborhood. The pho was 10/10. I will definitely be back here for more pho and a shirt!!

I recently dined at Little Saigon Cafe and was thoroughly impressed. The summer rolls were a delight, tasting incredibly fresh and the peanut sauce added a delicious twist. The pho special dish was a standout, with a flavorful broth, generous portion of noodles, and a good variety of meats. Despite being slightly pricey, it was worth every penny. My date had the P3 pho dish and echoed my sentiments. The decor added to the overall experience, creating a cozy atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable. The service was top-notch, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Little Saigon Cafe for its great food, ambiance, and excellent service.

We came here on a whim Saturday night after we saw it had good ratings online. It's small and very unassuming but the decor was interesting and they had a table open for us. Also it's BYOB.The menu had everything we were looking for. We ordered the spring rolls and they were perfectly crispy. The bahn mi sandwich was a little too toasted for my liking but still yummy. The real star was the pho! We ordered P8 the rare eye round steak & brisket and it was so rich and delicious. It was the perfect food after a long day running around in the rain. I was so full but I just couldn't stop drinking the broth at the end. My friend ordered the spring rolls & grilled pork vermicelli which was a huge bowl of food and she greatly enjoyed it as well. The staff was extremely friendly. The owner was funny and happy to put the PSU game on the TV for me and our waitress was so nice.

Just ok but nothing overly special. Summer rolls were mostly lettuce, the pork banh mi was good but on the smaller side with not a lot of flavor, and the special pho was mostly broth with not a lot of meat and noodles - I would have expected more ingredients considering this is their most expensive pho.

I have been here several times and this is my eldest son's pho place in Chinatown. This time, we brought J and the 2 girls here too - a group of 6. Everyone enjoyed the food thoroughly. The owner, Sam was extremely friendly and accommodating! Making the whole dining experience even better. This is our first time meeting Sam though we have visited the restaurant a few times prior. Sam is very active is the Chinese community in Philly and wish him all the best with the fight against arena and casino in Chinatown!!

Went there yesterday 9/1/24 and onlice said they closed at 12am on a Sunday. I get there around 10:30pm and can't be seated be I'm told they are only doing takeout. Fine I originally wanted pho but don't like it as a takeout so I opted to get shrimp and chicken spring rolls with the rice wrap as appetizers and grilled shrimp over rice noodles with pickled carrot and cucumber entrée. I ate the two spring rolls driving home by the time I reached home and started to eat the entrée I immediately started feeling sick. which led to later on that night puking and constant diarrhea up until now September 2 my stomach is still not right. Needless to say the shrimp must have been bad. Will never be going back again.

Oh what a lovely man Uncle Sam is. Through and through good experience with a kind soul. Pho is hot and broth has depth. Bahn mi tastes fresh n light. I think anyone would have a pleasant time here. It feels like a place you could be yourself at.
