Used them forOur wedding a few years ago.Great pricing on booze and they'll work with you for whatever You want. They also deliver and may even pick up, can't remember. But the main thing is you can return any unopened liquor and they'llGive you a full refund!! So make sure to tellYour bartenders to only open alcoholas needed rather than all atOnce.

If you're going here to buy beer or wine, just head to HEB where is WAY cheaper. They have jacked up the prices on all the cheap stuff. If you are buying hard liquor....then, this is the place for you. The employees are all nice and seem to know a lot about what they're selling.

This review is about using the Liquor Source for an event. I was given the Liquor Source's contact information by a venue that I was using for a wedding celebration. I met with Ron who is available Monday - Friday. He is a very nice guy and seems knowledgeable about the liquors that the company sells. The pros about this place are that they will deliver all of the alcohol, mixers, cups, napkins, ice, etc. to your event a few hours before it starts and they will come pick up the leftovers once your event is over and subsequently only charge you for what was actually used. Delivering the alcohol to a venue was very helpful and I was not concerned how I was going to get everything there. However, Ron told me that I could set a budget on the liquor that he would bring to my event, so that I would not be left with an outrageous bill because I did not want a complete open bar. I set a budget of $1,200 and he delivered the alcohol, cups, ice, mixers, etc to my event hours before my event started which was great. When the event was over, there were several bottles of vodka, beers, rum left over to be taken back. HOWEVER, when I received the invoice it was about $90 short of the $1,200 budget. I'm glad I didn't go over, but I should have had them give me an EXACT count of what they brought. I'm not sure if they inflated the final invoice OR regardless of my budget request, they sent WAY more than what I asked for. Either way, I was not pleased. So if you are going to use this place, it is very convenient BUT make sure you COUNT the bottles and receive a preliminary invoice of what was brought to the venue and COUNT the bottles before they are packed away. This way when you receive a final invoice, you will know if you have been cheated. I'm giving 3 stars for the convenience factor only and that the staff was friendly...(but I'd rather give 2.5!)

I used liquor source to provide liquor for my wedding. Good prices, delivered the liquor with no problems, and picked up the extras the next day all with minimal direction. I was very impressed with their service and would recommend them to anyone hosting an event.

I'm quite a good liquor, Barbi told me so.Usually this kind of liquor store has significant discounts on HEB, and a good selection, and providing great alcohol for the Galleria area - all these things would definitely get five stars, but despite the Galleria area being overly expensive and a rip off, this liquor store - which already wasn't the cheapest - is now charging more and more, and I guess they're trying to meet the overhead, so it's gotten to the point where it's cheaper to go to the big box stores for almost all the items, and that should be the case, and that's why I took one star off.In fact I would have given two or three stars if they weren't family-owned.

A little bit pricey but I guess that's what you pay to get it and out fast . Sometimes if I go to the other liquor stores it take a god 20min while here I just take 3 min if I know what I want

Very nice owner here. the place is pretty clean and has decent inventory. Parking should not be a problem here butt because if the food and beverages businesses on each side it might be a little packed at peak lunch timesThis place the owner says has been there for 30 years, thats a lot of alcohol going out the door.Will always be back because prices are reasonable and service on this visit was genuinly friendly.

Went by there to see if they had a decent bourbon selection. On the shelf was Old Weller Antique which they were selling for almost triple the retail price.On top of that the person I assume is the owner was bragging about how much he marks up his prices when he gets Pappy in to one of his vendors. Just head down the road to one of the other places with a better selection and retail prices.

Overpriced!! They mark up their alcohol way too much. Just go to Total Wine on Post Oak and San Felipe for a better deal.

We used Liquor Source for our wedding, and we couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out. Working with Ron was extremely convenient. We gave him an approximate headcount, and picked specific brands/types of alcohol. He estimated what we would need for the event based on his experience. They delivered everything to our venue, and picked-up everything that was leftover. This is an extremely efficient and convenient way to provide alcohol for any event.
