I visited after hearing about this place from a friend of mine. This place is gorgeous and perfect for a date dinner. Very classy and prestigious. The service is amazing and beyond.Tuna Tartar was so delicious and I highly recommend it if you don't know what to get. Tuna TartarAlso if you go around 10 am, you will be able to visit their clothing and souvenirs store.

I had such high expectations regarding this place, judging by the ambiance, service and prices. Unfortunately the food was mediocre to good, definitely not great, as you'd expect walking in. Something to fill your belly with, flat and flavorless.

Updating my previous review, Sunday Brunch is now a la carte, not the great value it used to be. Also the amazing pizza is no longer served in the restaurant but you can get it in the bar/lounge area, at least the Margarita, which is close to a true Neapolitan style pizza. Most disappointingly the best pasta in the world, the Casa Recche, was taken off the menu. Chef Bianco I don't know how you could do that to me! Not in season? Really?Even with those disappointments we still love Lido for it's old world elegance, world class food, ambience and service. It all comes with a price, of course, plan on at least $200 pp++ for a nice meal with basic wine. The wine list is very Italian centric however corkage is up to $100 per bottle so unless you have something very special from your cellar to bring look to explore some of the regions of Italy, or some Champagne or cocktails for those inclined. The crudos are always outstanding at Lido. Pastas are good, but boy do we miss the Casa Recche, none of the others come close. Tonight's special Dover Sole prepared table side (around $150 or so for two) was divine, accompanied by some great vegetables, mushrooms. After about 20 visits over the years I am confident to say if you are looking for high end fine modern Italian dining under the current leadership of acclaimed Chef Michael White, you will not be disappointed.

It's an absolutely beautiful space and the restaurant is outrageously overpriced. The cheapest glass of red wine is $26. A bottle of wine on the menu for $150 retails at $33. The food is almost equally galling. A small portion of caponata as an appetizer is $24. It would cost $15 at a high end Italian place. Valet parking-- with them validating your ticket after you spent $300 for dinner-- is still $25. Can you say RIPOFF? I will say though if those prices don't bother you, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is gorgeous.

Food, service and location were good but the prices for wine and certain other items are quite steep. I get it's an expensive area but relative to some of the options at the Shops at Bal Harbour mall, the premium charged didn't come with a material enough elevation of the dinner experience.

Love this historic space. Beautiful interior where you can enjoy a seat at the champagne bar, restaurant or outdoor patio with a view. Lovely selection of appetizers with a seafood theme. Perfectly prepared fish. Pricey so be prepared. Worth it!

Located inside Surfside's Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, "simple yet sophisticated Mediterranean cuisine" lives, (still) expertly prepared by chef Antonio Mermolia at the Lido Restaurant. Its former tenant, Le Sirenuse, left our city but happened to leave the best behind: an amazing team of FOH, BOH, and everyone in between. Mermolia and his dream squad continue to impress with a personable hospitality touch and an exceptional revamped menu. The main historic entrance to the hotel is not easily spotted off Collins so drive slowly when nearing it. Once you enter, make a quick stop for your temperature check, and continue down the hall towards the lobby. Once there, take a second to catch your breath. You have arrived. Walk under the vaulted wooden ceilings to find the bar and restaurant on your left. Once inside, you will notice the palette of blues and greens emerge; a parade of tropical palms of all types frame the bar and the luxurious dining room seating areas. Miami doesn't have a shortage of gorgeous venues and restaurants, I know that, but this one is truly breathtaking. Service, always on point. The staff never stops doting on guests from beginning to end and ultimately deliver an outstanding experience. I can't rave enough about it all. An endless stream of staff works tirelessly clearing out used plates and bringing out new silverware and glasses. Dishes are coursed throughout the night. MENU HIGHLIGHTS: Order a glass of bubbly to begin, either at the Champagne Bar outside before dinner or upon being seated. To start, order the *New Zealand Langoustine TARTARE*Save room for the *72-Hour-Fermented TARTUFO NERO Pizza* I dare you to share. Order ANY of the pastas. If truffles are in season, order whatever buttery version is the special.End with the UPSIDE DOWN PEANUT BUTTER CHEESECAKE, CAPRESE CAKE, and/or the PISTACHIO GELATO. Despite the ritzy environs and elegant vibe, there's something to be said about a seamlessly executed dinner experience: one that exemplifies grace, poise, and the pride that comes from a job well done. More importantly, one that's available right here in our city and who gives so much heart. Well done, Lido!

Fantastic experience all around ! The restaurant is so beautiful and the entire staff is conscientious and kind. My waiter Dayron gave impeccable service, in fact, the best service I have had to date in Miami and possibly ever. He recommended great dishes and his attention to detail was seamless. The food was so fresh and so good- Bronzino for the win! Zucchini appetizer, pasta with Duck the bread was so good. The Non alcoholic drinks were Amazing! Get the one with the nitrogen bubbles. I highly recommend the Lido to anyone who wants an elegant 5 star experience that leaves positive memories.

I had a wonderful experience at this gorgeous hotel for dinner. The service and food at Lido were wonderful and the champagne bar was gorgeous for pre and post dinner cocktails. At the champagne bar, they greet you with a few items to munch on: olives, almonds, and potato chips, while you browse through the menu. The cocktail menu options were a little on the sweet side (even the mezcalito which is supposed to be more smokey), so I went off-menu with a Vesper and they made it perfectly! For dinner at Lido we ordered the salmon crudo to start, and the branzino and chicken breast for our entrees. The salmon crudo was okay in terms of flavor, but could have been much larger in portion size (it seems it is meant for 1.5 people to split). The chicken entree eas quite large and had a truffle flavor that made it delicious! The branzino was also tasty and cooked very well. The key lime pie is a perfect balance of tart and sweet and we closed out the evening with a fantastic port wine that was recommended by the sommelier.Overall, a wonderful evening.
