Wowwwie. This place did not disappoint! They've got some of the best chicken cutlet sandwiches we've had in years. The chicken parm was fantastic. The pig and the fig was harder to enjoy because there was so much on the sandwich that you couldn't enjoy all the flavors in one bite but it was still extremely tasty and filling. Drink wise they have soda and sugar cane soda and kombucha. They also have fresh cut meats and cheese. As well as some designer items like chocolate dipped freeze dried orange slices. The ambiance is casual. It's a small deli but there's a handful of tables inside and the Philly decor is on point. Don't sleep on this spot. Come in for a sandwich and order it for dine in if you want it to come out faster. It seems like they get a ton of take out orders but we got our food faster because we ordered in.

Had to try the viral kale chicken Caesar sandwich. Did not disappoint! Bread was 11/10, cutlets were delicious, and Caesar dressing was really flavorful. Also tried the brown butter chocolate chip cookie, which was great!!Service was quick and the place is really cute inside but small. Definitely worth the hype.

Great spot for sandwiches and hoagies. I've only been here once but will definitely be back at some point.Spicy turkey sandwich is fire, literally. It's so good but the spice level is another level with the habanero jam and chilies. If you can't handle spice, I would get something else.

Liberty kitchen has become a staple in my household, my boyfriend and I crave their sandwiches weekly and we are always satisfied once we get them. He gets their recently viral chicken kale Caesar and I'm obsessed with the "fig and the pig" sandwich. Such a fun spot with great art as well, it's somewhere we always stop when we have visitors from out of town! They also have a great chocolate chip cookie if you're into that sorta thing!

Liberty Kitchen makes some amazing sandwiches. Every sandwich I have had was so good. This place is located in Fishtown right on the main drag. The inside is pretty small but they do sell some useful Nick nacks. They had hot sauces, pickles, and Caphe Roasters coffee for sale. We ordered the sandwiches online so we could quickly pick it up. Today, I tried The Pig & The Fig. They use an amazing sesame roll with only a slight amount of goat cheese (almost a bit tangy but not as overpowering as goat cheese typically is). I really liked the arugula on the dish with chicken cutlet and prosciutto. The slight fig jam really added to the sandwich. I didn't feel like the pickled red onions went with the dish, however.

The Italian hoagie is classic, simple, and irresistible! I needed to try my first hoagie in Philly and I swear I was only going to eat half, saving the rest for the next day... I don't know what happened. I couldn't stop. The cafe was cute as hell with great ambience, the staff was hilarious and kind, the location convenient and trendy. I can't argue about the price because honestly it could feed two easily.

Really great sandwiches! Small clean hole in the wall sandwich shop. Most people ordered ahead which I would recommend to avoid the long wait. The chicken cutlet is clearly the star of the show and was excellent, but I will say it was hard to appreciate all of the flavors of the sandwich because all you could taste was the chicken cutlet (which was also a little bit heavy). I would probably try one of their non-chicken cutlet sandwiches next time. Will definitely be going back!

Walked into a spacious room with a very chill vibe. The first time I came to this restaurant, I ordered a Cutlet Italiano. The staff promptly took my order and delivered to me within 20mins. Ate it 3 hours later after my workout and it tasted meh. Didn't feel like it was worth the $20 spent. The second time I went, tried out the Roast Beef and Fig & the Pig. They were both fantastic. The Roast Beef was stuffed with delicious beef and arugula but the banana peppers wasn't as evident. Other than the detracting goat cheese (personal option), the sweeter Fig & the Pig was the best.

This is a to go place other than a little counter you can sit at (which we did) but dang the sandwiches are good! I personally not a fan of the peppers but 99% of italian sandwiches have them and this one was just delicious. Its right in fishtown and theres little items like pastas and pickled items as well to get. We did pick up a little pasta salad and it was well worth it! The food was dont in 5-10 min, perfect if you are coming out of an office on a punch break. Quick and easy! The place is tiny and street parking was available although recommend walking!

I ordered a turkey hoagie and a turkey kaiser sandwich. I got mayo instead of the house creamy balsamic dressing on the hoagie but made no changes for the sandwich. They're fine, but not stellar or anything to tell people about. They are a bit dry and can use something else to moisten them up a bit. Just feels like something was missing. I did like how the toppings are tucked inside the meat on the sandwich...keeps things tidy and not sloppy.
