Li's is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood here in sugar land! The service and food were both immaculate! The ladies who assisted us at the front were super helpful and friendly. One talked with us while we waited for our food which didn't take long at all.I got all my favorites- - Green onion pancake- Soupy pan fried pork buns- Pork and cabbage snow flake pot stickersAnd they were all excellent! So fresh, crispy and savory! I can't recommend this place enough and hope they flourish and continue to do well!Come and visit!

TLDR: Some slight shortcomings have this place on the border of true greatness. Worth trying for sure, but with a few minor tweaks, this place could blow up as the go to spot in Sugar Land for what they offer. Visit: Weekday (lunch)Order: Potstickers- 7.8/10They absolutely nailed the crispy edges and presentation. However the filling bordered on bland and dry. With a little extra fat or better blending of the meat, this could easily be a 9+. Soup Dumplings- 7.2/10The dumpling wrappers themselves were pleasantly thin and the soup was flavorful. However, the filling was below standard as it had a weirdly grainy, off putting dry texture. With a few changes, this too could be rated much higher. Came in for lunch and was one of two tables at the time. Service started off cold/robotic, but by the end was a bit more welcoming. After ordering the meal, I was given a complimentary lemonade (that should have been a little sweeter IMO) and some pickled veggies. When the dishes arrive, I would say that it got the job done, but could have been better if the details were focused on. In particular, the potstickers had perfectly executed crispy edges, but the filling was rather bland and on the dry side. In addition, the soup dumpling had a nice thin wrapper and satisfying amount of soup, but was offset by the tough/grainy filling that was very much underwhelming.

I came here for the first time with my mother-in-law and husband after I saw that Fen was no longer there. The restaurant reuses the same interior as Fen, including many of the same interior posters as Fen with the Fen logo. The service was pretty good. The restaurant now features full table service, while previous management required customers to order at a kiosk or online via the Chowbus system. The waitress came by frequently to refill water, as well. The biggest downside was the lack of physical menus. Given that Sugar Land has an older Asian community of retirees, solely relying on the QR-code based menu was frustrating for my mother-in-law, and the Chowbus platform for the menu isn't particularly user friendly (excruciatingly small lettering when looking at the digital menu). Some of the original menu items have been retained from Fen, although they're using different (and better recipes) than the previous owners. Additionally, the menu has been substantially expanded to focus heavily on soup dumplings, boiled dumplings, and potstickers, as well as common Taiwanese appetizers such as beef wraps and green onion pancakes.Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the food. We ordered a dry pork noodle dish, xiao long bao, potstickers, beef wraps, and green onion pancakes. The green onion pancakes were fairly typical and weren't particularly flaky or fresh-feeling. The noodle dish was substantially better than when the restaurant was Fen, although it wasn't really my cup of tea. However, the xiao long bao and potstickers were incredibly flavorful and juicy without being overpowering or MSG-packed. I also enjoyed the beef wrap, although it would have benefited from some picked mustard greens and more of the lettuce stem for extra crunch.Overall, I would still probably come back. We all enjoyed the food and felt the portion sizes were reasonable for the price.

Li's Potstickers is a new dumpling restaurant that replaces Fen. They are currently in their soft opening phase. I had difficulty looking for the restaurant as their restaurant sign has not been put up yet. The restaurant is located beside Coco's by the way. The restaurant is small and clean. I love the clean decor and the colors in the restaurant. I came for the pork xiao long bao so of course I had to try that. The wrapper to filling ratio for the xiao long bao was good. The wrapper was thin too, and there was a good amount of soup in each xiao long bao. However the xiao long bao lacked in flavor and depth in the soup. Ginger wasn't served with the xiao long bao which was unusual. I also had the pork and shrimp snow flake pot stickers. Same as the xiao long bao, the filling in the pot stickers lacked flavor. The pot stickers were also swimming in oil when served to me. That didn't look appetizing. I had the hot noodles with sesame paste which had no meat in it. It was ok. The color of the noodles looked very different from the poster's. I ended my meal with sweet sesame balls. They had red bean filling in them, my favorite. They tasted frozen store bought instead of homemade. Overall I am disappointed with the food flavor.

Wanted to stop by and try this place out as it is fairly new. We came on a friday evening. The food is tasty and this place has potential but it's very understaffed.. Unfortunately, not everyone had as much patience as us and ended up leaving shortly after they sat down. It is quite a small space, humble decor. Smashed cucumbers were standard but definitely needed more seasoning. We also got the beef roll that's not pictured, savory and weet, overall very balanced flavor. Dumplings were seasoned well, juicy, and wrapper was thin. The noodles was my personal favorite, aromatic and nice chew factor. We would come back but maybe in a few months when they get more help both in the kitchen and up front.

Xiaolongbao's are a must order here! Their flavor is on point. We also ordered the cucumber appetizer, potstickers (really well cooked!), pan fried pork buns and minced pork noodles (dry). We will return!

Just a quick review on the food, we got the pork xiao long bao, pork Chinese cabbage snow flake pot stickers and the fried pork intestine. The pot stickers are a little small but the xiao long bao were stellar. The fried pork intestine was stellar too, similar to a crispy Peking duck's skin if you know what that tastes like! Would recommend and would come again. (Bonus points from me, they played a Daniel Caesar playlist, one of my favorite artists.)

I ordered takeout this morning. This is a new opening restaurant. The xiaolongbao and soupy pan fried pork buns are so delicious and cute. It's definitely a 10/10. Since they just open, they are offering free lemonade. Everyone should try it and give a little bit encouragement to this brand new restaurant. I definitely will come back for dining in again.
