Wicked Oxtail I had an oxtails and stew chicken combo and it was legit mouthwatering. The food was served at great temperature and timing. Love to support business like these. Being from Jamaica, I recognize authentic Jamaican cuisine when I taste it

Was at the food truck rodeo in downtown Raleigh and wanted to try the jerk food at Levy's. The line was very long and the place was recommended by people who were in lone waiting. We only ordered one item, the jerk/bbq wings that came with one side. And yes, the wing sauce was both jerk and bbq mixed. Not as spicy as a normal jerk sauce because of the mix with bbq but very good together. The wings were cooked well and still juicy and meaty. Came with one side and they had a great list of side but we tried the rice and peas. If you have never had it, it is rice with red beans with a little spice. We would recommend compared to plain white rice. The menu had great variety and we would have liked to tried the curry goat and brown chicken, however, we went to 4 trucks before this stop because it was the food truck rodeo. The line was long but moved pretty smooth and all the food was hot and fresh. Great friendly staff. Food was packed in closed boxes with silverware and bagged. This was great since we were taking it home and went to other trucks at the event. We will definitely be back for more. Very authentic Jamaican food.

Years ago a friend from the Barbados made me curry chicken as a meal after I had surgery. I haven't been able to replicate that meal or find a place that matched it. Until now...Levy's Jerkstand at North State Food Hall in Selma! I got the cabbage and rice & beans as my two sides. Best cabbage ever! This meal made my heart happy. I will definitely be back!

EVERYTIME! We order.... it's NEVER a disappointment! We've tried almost all dishes and sides. Recently were the collards! Delicious. Their plantains are always done perfect and their jerk meats are always tender and the flavor is always consistent and lip smacking! Also I LOVE that they have patties AND the CocoBread. I'm always met by pleasant staff and they're responsive several ways if you have to order online or by phone .From one island person to another.... trust me the authenticity will make you happy!

Omg the best meat pies ever. They are so fluffy and flavorful and the jerk chicken is Delicious. Don't sleep on them .

Based how my service was today and the presentation of my plate I am not satisfied at all......I have a strong affinity for quality customer service and professionalism, but today wasn't what I was accustomed to......if new people are hired to serve food then they must know the importance of customer service and professional ethics.....I don't want anyone to serve my food sitting down or waking up from a nap..... my time and currency is worthy of good soil. Other than service to day the food has been excellent because the customer service was professional and the customer service was good.

I just finished trying out their jerk chicken and it was very good. Pleasantly surprised. Definitely will be returning to try out more of their menu.

I had dry food and was confronted by the cook. She came off as if she was going to be physical. I would not recommend this establishment if you want hot, juicy and on-time food. However, Christine(cashier) was rather pleasant. I would give 0 stars if I could. Sabrina
