Their food is bomb. I never had fried okra with so much flavor and crisp to perfection. Cornbread was like heaven. My whole order was $16 and it's enough for lunch and dinner. The restaurant itself has a lot of seating so even when it's rush hour you'll probably find a seat.Definitely get the cornbread.

10/10 chicken wings and the BEST potato salad and yes it's sweet! The service was 10/10! Fast & Hot Food for sure! You can eat in with your family or just take it to go! Nice sitting areas and located in a convient area.

I picked up a Togo order here and it was delicious. They do have indoor seating and a parking lot. had an oxtail plate and Oreo cake on Caribbean Sunday. I think that prices are decent for the portions served. I can't speak too much on service since I ordered pickup, but our order was ready when we arrived.

Food consistently good...a lot of the dishes taste homemade, including the turkey wings and sides like cabbage, yams and greens. Service is quick and efficient. Solid 4.5 for food and service.

*This review applies strictly to the Sunday Caribbean menu*I'm slowly morphing into my mother, what does that mean? We eat mostly homemade meals and we have a more particular palette. With that being said, on this particular Sunday, we decided to revisit this location which we absolutely adored on a previous visit. While the food was good, it did not come close to our previous soul food experience (in comparison to cost and flavor). We ordered the curry chicken plate and jerk plate. While we found the curry chicken to be spiced mildly and flavorful (and the best option, in our opinion), the green beans were too salty, rice undercooked, and jerk chicken dry. For the price, we were exceptionally disappointed ($50+ with dessert and drinks). However we've had such a good experience in the past we are looking forward to trying again in the future. Caribbean restaurant: 3.5

I've been a few times now and this is so far the best soul food I've tried in the area. I've tried their fried fish, fried chicken, collards, cabbage, yams, banana pudding, and strawberry lemonade. The food can take a while to come but it's worth it. If you're worried about timing, order online and it will be ready by the time you get there. I've also gotten 15% off coupon codes from ordering online as well. Let's eat is located near NCCU in the shopping center next to checkers. There is seating for you to enjoy your food there or you can take it home.As far as the food is concerned the seasoning is perfect. Not too salty and just what you would expect from a soul food spot. They have a huge assortment of puddings as well that are really good. I would recommend trying those as well and the cornbread is really good.

Soul food is my favorite kind of food! I don't come here often but when I do I feel like I am at home. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is gooood! Each day they have a different special. I love their chicken and dumplings, candied yams and collards! The cook cooks with love and you can taste it in each bite. The inside is small but comforting. There is plenty of parking and the prices are very affordable

My husband picked me up a Turkey Wing Dinner what a big rip off they give you one wing and a small piece of half of a tip underneath for the price this is definitely not worth it this owner should be ashamed of herself. On top of that it does not taste good and the instant rice has a heavy instant rice taste the not so good gravy does not helpThe Mac and Cheese is pure garbage it taste like straight up Velveeta that is it My Goodness black owned Soul Food Restaurants in North Carolina you definitely gotta do better the food in NC is garbage.I got the Hamburger Steak with Gravy from this place a few weeks ago I had to trash it the meat is so firm and tight you can't even cut it with a fork and it has a weird tasteI am fairly new to North Carolina been here 1 1/2 years the food is awful in North Carolina from the miminum Soul Food Restaurants to the terrible pizza,we have tried many restaurants here this State sucks when it come to good food.I know natives flock here and other Soul Food Spots because this is all they have North Carolina has not caught up with the wonderful delicious Soul Food like in New Orleans..Texas..Georgia..Alabama.. Mississippi or Virginia the BBQ even sucks here in NC all the food does

Regrettably, my dining experience was marred by the discourteous customer service I encountered. The young lady handling my order exhibited extreme rudeness and disrespect, leaving a lasting negative impression that overshadowed any enjoyment I could have derived from the food.
