Leeland House

This is a great casual hangout with craft cocktails and brunch menu available throughout the day. Our happy group of alleged retirees all met up and wandering back to the second building on the property to find indoor service. Grab a menu and place your order at the nearest bar and it appears at your table moments later. I had the creme brûlée French toast which featured layers of bread in two cake sliced portions and plenty of sweetness. It did, however, lack the crunch typically necessary to claim brûléed but was still delicious and oversized. Bacon accompanied it and the smoky, meaty unctuous taste was a nice counterpoint. Others had the house Benedict and found it to be decadent. Even the avocado toast was lush and filling.

The atmosphere is nice, quaint but the food leaves something to be desired. We happened upon Leeland House because shockingly, Brother's Taco House was closed on a Sunday at 10a (que pedo?!)There is no visible menu. You snap the QR code at your table and order at the bar.It's a cute place for first date, BFF brunch but don't come hungry, the food and drinks are underwhelming.

This is a hidden gym in Houston! The food, ambiance, and service were excellent! The mimosas were good as well! It is not over priced and they give you a good portioned size! I normally don't order a burger for brunch but I am so glad I did! It was juicy and very good! Never would I have thought that I would enjoy a burger with an egg on there but I did! The DJ also was playing all of the hits! I will for sure be back!

I've said all there is to say about this place! Food A...service....A- sometimes the line is long...and ambiance A+. It's a vibe at Leeland house!!

1/13/2024- Came here for breakfast with a party of 9 after the "We are Houston 5k" race. This place was highly recommended by Houston locals and ambassadors to the race. This place is the cutest! We sat outside, it ended up being a beautiful chilly morning. They have an awesome outdoor space. You order inside and they just bring it out to you. The inside is just as adorable.The menu looked amazing. A lot of different options. Some savory, some sweet. We came pretty hungry, and everyone seemed to be super happy by their selection. Some ordered avocado toast, hash, egg sandwiches, etc. I went with the basic breakfast but there was nothing basic about it. Everything on that plate was delicious. The eggs, the bacon, the bread, the potatoes! all of it.The one thing that stood out to us was the fantastic service by the staff. Highly recommended!

Tried the classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Everything was tasty! I especially liked the jam that came with the toast, great texture and sweetness. The bacon was thick and the potatoes were crispy!

I went here for brunch over the weekend and everything was good. Customer service was excellent. You order at the bar then seat yourself. They have 2 patios and the inside is a little small. Overall, everything was great. Definitely will be back!

Came here for breakfast after the We Are Houston 5K this past weekend and had a lovely experience. Leeland House was recommended to me by an Ambassador for the Houston Marathon who certainly knew what he was talking about - fantastic recommendation! The menu looked amazing but I wasn't that hungry so my friend and I opted to split the avocado toast which ended up being the perfect portion size for both of us. The avocado toast comes with a generous side salad and even two pieces of thick bacon! I really enjoyed the dish. I also LOVED the honey lavender latte - goodness gracious I could have drank like three of them - so delicious! I took away a star due to the whole order at the counter situation and that there are two restaurants that share the same space so I was pretty confused. It was mid-morning on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. Seems like it could be a poppin' spot in the evenings. Great outdoor space.

I have had brunch at Leeland House several Sunday's now.. The BRISKET Hash!! Chef's Kiss! If you like mimosas the options are nice, seating is primarily outside, they keep a good amount of fans running to help with the heat. The Creme Brûlée French toast is cool as well, reminds me more of a bread pudding texture but decent. Im still tasting the Hash tho.. So GOOD..

Went to grab a quick breakfast before a 12:30 Astros game on a Sunday. Service was super fast and outstanding as well.The biscuits and gravy was phenomenal, although next time I will probably add the extra chicken the bartender recommended.We got a craft of sangria and a cappuccino and latte, all the drinks where spectacular and arrived with 1-2 minutes of our wording them.Really a great brunch at a reasonable price, we will be back!
