My friend and I came here on a whim for dinner one night and had a great meal. It wasn't very busy, so service was quick and attentive.We started out by splitting a bao bun with crispy tofu, carrots, scallion, cucumber, and hoisin sauce. The bao was nice and fluffy, but not the best I've ever had.For my main entree, I got the Bun Dau Hu Cha Gio Chay (vermicelli dish) with crispy tofu, a veggie roll, lettuce, cucumbers, bean sprouts, and peanuts. It was really yummy and refreshing on a warm summer night.Overall we had a solid dinner and I'd return, probably in the fall or winter for a cozy, warm dish!

I have dined in this beautiful establishment and ordered for delivery (3rd party) like today. The food is prepared with pure love and talent. ALWAYS tasty with beautiful presentation. Nice portion and cost effective. I would attribute exceptional service to be so consistent for so long. My salt and pepper tofu is just so gosh darn good! The limeade compliments this dish and is so refreshing. If I was to describe my experience in one word, it would be HAPPINESS!

Ambiance was fine; music was good; service was fine, but food was mediocre. Terribly disappointed as we were there for a birthday dinner. Even more disappointed because I had such fond memory of our last visit here. None of us were impressed tonight. We were here a few years ago and it was fabulous then. Tonight's appetizers were so-so. The meat sliders were a hit, but the egg rolls were overdone and the pancakey appetizer was a thin, dry, fried oddity. Won't come back anytime soon. Maybe if they improve their edibles, but we'll HAVE to check for improved reviews before stepping in again.

Nice ambience but the food is another story. I ordered pho with beef flank, my wife ordered the bun bo Huế and bố nhưng dam. Mỹ pho was not served with beef flank but cooked beef shank. The beef had a smoky smell because it was too old. The bun bo Huế noodle was too raw to chew. The bo Nhung dấm was completely raw when it was supposed to quickly soaked through hot water before serving with lemond juice. I told the host, he kept thanking me for letting him know. He said that he told the kitchen. He still charged me for the whole meal. I did not even dispute but told him that they should not serve bad food. At the end of the day, money still dictates. I feel embarrassed for the host when I told him the food was spoiled but I guess people's esteem varies!!

This place used to be basically my living room. It's quick, convenient, and consistently fantastic. The owner (?) plays great music. So, sip a martini, eat some cha gio, maybe some chicken with broken rice, listen to Belle & Sebastian or whatever is playing and enjoy a lovely afternoon or evening eating super fresh, super flavorful food. (The only reason La Viet is no longer my living room away from home is simply because I was getting a wee bit chunky.)

We finally tried this restaurant after 4 years in the neighborhood. Very nice interior design. Pleasant and very helpful staff. We had the dry pot ribs and A curry noodle dish; both delicious and the noodles were a great leftover for lunch the next day.
