Best Pupusas In Houston Fresh Food!Good Quality!Worth The Drive ‍ I will definitely be coming back

Very very delicious! The ambiance is also very calm and nice! The service is also very good! Staff is super nice! And the pupusas are very good. One little thing though is that the coffee is a bit too bland but also its good. I recommend this place 100%.

This was my first time at this establishment. I went to the usual chicken quesadilla that any Mexican restaurant should not mess up. The box presentation had a good quality view with slaw, one tomato, one slice/slither of an avocado. The side vegetables were very stingy. Who eats a slither/slice of a tomato and avocado! And I don't care if one calls it "garnish." There was a little clear cup of green sauce. The spice level for someone that eats spicy food was a solid three out of five. The taste was a five out of five. The reason for the lowered score was communication that would not allow for my order to be correct. I asked for a chicken quesadilla period. I got some chicken, not too sure on the cheese, and some reddish beans. The texture was off but overall not what I ordered. I'm not sure if I will go back again as I don't want to waste time when I spend my money and would have to send my food back with uncertainty if the order will be right. FYI: It was a pick up order. The place looked clean.

STAY AWAY! Came in on an early Saturday morning. The place was pretty much empty. The waitress gave us so much attitude for asking questions about the menu almost like we were doing something wrong. The food was made to order but it wasn't good. Not worth the drive or the attitude. Take your money elsewhere!

Tried to support this place because it's close and Salvadoran but it saddens me what they do. I've come multiple times but they really just don't seem to care. This last incident left a sour taste in my mouth (literally)I ordered 15 Pupusas to feed the family one a couple days ago and they made them super hot to mask the defect. Once they cooled down, it was obvious that they had used spoiled masa that they tried to cover up with baking soda (a very old trick.) Sure it might save them a few bucks, but it could also get my 2 year old really sick. Shame on you Lazo's

First time trying Lazo's and I was very happy I did. This location is very close to work so that is a win. I've had the bean and cheese pupusas on two different occasions and they were delicious. The pupusas come with curtido and salsa and its so good! Each time they were very warm and super fresh. I went once to pickup the order and the customer service was great. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for some delicious pupusas. Great price, friendly staff, good food.

Super cute location, sweet people. The food never disappoints. I order take out here every few weeks. The flautas are my favorite

In search of so yummy pupusas and found this restaurant here on yelp! Nice family style restaurant with a good amount of seating. Let me say I really enjoyed the pupusas and they gave a lot of cabbage and sauce to go with it. Before completing my order I heard a young lady order empanadas and said let me try that too..... they were amazing

I placed a takeout order at 4:26 pm and was assured it would be ready within 20 to 25 minutes. However, when I arrived at 4:55 pm, I found myself waiting for an extended period. Despite reassurances from your staff, it became apparent that there were significant delays in preparing my order. At 5:55 pm, nearly an hour later, the food was finally presented to me, only to discover that it was incorrect.I must emphasize that the issue isn't merely about the cost of the order. My Friday evening plans were compromised due to this ordeal, and the food ultimately went to waste. The lack of accountability from your managerial staff is disheartening. It is disconcerting to think that a 17-year-old employee was repeatedly dispatched to convey apologies, rather than a responsible manager addressing the situation personally.In my opinion, after 20 minutes of such a frustrating experience, it should have been the duty of the manager to intervene and expedite the process. This unfortunate incident reflects poorly on your establishment and leaves me with no choice but to seriously reconsider future patronage.
