During Ramadan, Layal offers dinner buffet during the period. This is true for other Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurants as well. I've had the opportunity to try a few places last year. You get to try a lot of the dishes in one seating!We went on the first day of the buffet and were first in line as well. It was not crowded but definitely have a few hungry folks like us. If you are not familiar with the custom, you wait for sunset before you can start eating. Start with the sweet dried date provided on the table. Arrive a few minutes before sunset as there may be a line waiting to get their food.There was a ton of food to choose from... soups, salads, kafta, seafood (shrimp mussels, fish), roast beef, chicken and lamb. My favorites were the roast beef, creamy chicken with pasta, seafood with rice and lamb shank. Yum! There were also different drinks included... one was orange, not sure what the rest were. They were all tasty and sweet. They also have different desserts... the best were the mini cheesecakes and mini crepe rolls.We sat in the open air area. They were a few folks smoking hookah. Nothing like cigarette smoke. Didn't mind the smell.Place has indoor and outdoor seating. Multiple TVs on the walls. Staff was friendly and came to check on us a couple of times. Coffee and tea is not included in the buffet. Recommend checking it out. Tip: Do not go late as the buffet is not an all nighter. Go before sunset. Enjoy!

Went to work and smoke hookah. Great place, clean, customer service was great, food was so delicious, hookah hookahan and they were renovating. Oh and Wi-Fi was perfect. I highly recommend. It's quiet during the hours of 2-6p. I went on a Friday and the waiter recommended the lamb and couscous. I sent my daughter a pic and she begged for me to bring her one and ate it all, a 12 year old lol. Just saying. I also order the lemon garlic shrimp very good and fresh! You gotta try this place.

It's is not children friendly: hookah smokers inside also, food was basic. They charge automatically 18% gratuity. I understand to charge 18% gratuity if you have hookah at your table. In my case we didn't, our waiter hardly can find him, poor service and took forever to get the check instead had to go find the waiters section to pay for our table.

Great ambience! Came on Friday for couscous, and it was absolutely amazing. They serve generous portions. And it's honestly the best couscous in Houston. Highly recommend! Also, Our server was Kasim and he was so attentive and kind. He made us feel so welcome and he made sure we were taken care of. So thankful for his great customer service! Will be back! Thank you Kasim!

This place was absolutely amazing. They had adorable decor for Ramadan. We sat outside and although it took half an hour to bring us a heater they were nice about it. The hookah was good but they weren't bringing out coals fast enough for people. We had to ask a few times.
