We had a great time dining here! We had the koobideh and the sirloin, plus the salatim and dessert that come with. Everything was fantastic and they were able to accommodate my partner's allergies (sesame and nuts), which was great. They were really thoughtful, too, and brought both the tahina ketchup for me and regular ketchup for him. Service was great overall and they're clearly well-staffed so we were never waiting around. Food came quickly but we never felt rushed. Ambiance is nice with lots of plants. As an aside, the banana phone mocktail was probably the most memorable mocktail I've had anywhere. Really special.

It's impossible to leave Laser Wolf feeling anything other than full and happy! Service & Ambiance: Attentive, friendly service with a modern, beautiful interior. Food is quick but well-paced.Food: The best hack? Opt for the appetizer + dessert for around $25. The appetizer tray is massive, fresh, and filling, and the brown sugar soft serve is a must-try!TL;DR: Order just the app tray and dessert for around $25!

Laser Wolf is an Israeli grill, a pillar of Israeli life and known in Hebrew as a "shipudiya" or "skewer house". The kitchen is led by executive chef Andrew Henshaw, a longtime culinary collaborator with co-owners Michael Solomonov and Steve Cook. There's baba ghanouj, smokier even than the grilled eggplant. There are gigante beans as big as your thumb, a fresh slaw of shaved fennel and cabbage, and another salad -- pickled celery and pineapple -- that is weird but also kind of great. The koobideh is like a hamburger on a stick, part beef and part lamb. A little stiff and underseasoned. The skewers were great and the fries are amazing. But the best part is the service! Amazing hospitality and warm welcome as soon as you walk in. Highly recommend to experience this with a group of friends , if you can get a reservation. Cheers

Laser Wolf was an excellent experience. I have been to Zahav and had high expectations. The salatim was my favorite part. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Their hummus and pita is truly the best in the city. The kebab was also delicious and my friends enjoyed their vegetarian meals. They especially loved the crispy eggplant. For dessert, the peach sorbet was a perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Overall an amazing place to grab Mediterranean food in Philly, would highly recommend will be back.

This place is the cool kid of the restaurant scene. If you want a lively dining experience, like a night at the coolest club in town, but with delicious Middle Eastern flavors instead of loud music, go to Laser Wolf in Philly. This spot is fun and energetic. It's a mix of casual and trendy. It's not for a quiet night out, but perfect for a fun evening with friends. The service here is on point--pleasant and quick without feeling rushed. The staff knows their stuff and will guide you through the menu like a pro. They're more than happy to give you the lowdown on what to expect with each dish. Now, let's talk about the food. Every meal kicks off with Salatim: a spread of hummus and a variety of dips served with fresh pita. It's a fantastic deal and a must-try. Everyone raves about the hummus, as expected, it is legendary. But, I found myself unable to stop devouring the babaganoush. Those little smoky eggplant clouds were dangerous. Each little dish is unique and addictive, so pace yourself or you'll be full before the main event!Speaking of main courses: charcoal-grilled perfection. I tried the chicken Shishlik and the Koobideh (lamb and beef)--both were amazing. And don't ignore the charred cauliflower. It is a revelation. It's especially good with the sauce underneath. The sauce ties everything together perfectly.I hear a lot of hype about the dessert, but let's be honest, it's a fancy soft serve. It's cool, but not life-changing. Think delicious ice cream truck vibes, not a life-changing experience. But hey, it's included in the price, so go ahead and enjoy it.All in all, Laser Wolf offers great value for money, especially given the quality and quantity of food. Just a heads-up: snagging a reservation can be a bit of a challenge, so plan ahead. Trust me, it's worth it for a night of fantastic food and a buzzing atmosphere!

Another human being saying that Laser Wolf is excellent?! Ground breaking. I was lucky enough to dine at the Chef's Counter for the first time last week and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Brass tacks FAQ:1) You're paying for the entire experience built into your entree price. Expect to spend anywhere between $60-$120 per person all in, depending on appetite and money spent at the bar. 2) Use Resy notify to get in, but you need to be lightning fast once you get the notification - especially if you're hoping to dine during peak times.3) Chef's counter is amazing for a group of two. I found there to be plenty of room for all dishes, drinks, boxes, salatim, etc.4) Save room for soft serve.5) Take note of the automatically added 20% service charge.Other than that, sit down and get ready for an amazing night. I enjoyed every single salatim dish and it's obvious the team here works hard to get flavor profiles JUST right. Surprise hit for me? Smokey, marinated beets. Standard favorites like the hummus and kale eggplant dish were also stunners. For our mains, my boyfriend and I opted to go meat heavy with the koobideh and sirloin. Truly, I can't recommend this course of action enough. The koobideh is unmissable and I was impressed by my boyfriend's ability to put together the most beautiful bites (meat + pita + a little hummus + tahini + onion = genius). We went brown sugar soft serve and I forced myself to get through more than half of it, but was SO full. The rice crunch makes it.My only regret is ordering a cocktail instead of a glass of wine. I like their wine list a lot and while I enjoyed my cocktail on it's own, a glass of red wine would have really made the meal more indulgent and coherent. Other than Goldie, this is my first interaction with a Solomonov restaurant and I can't wait to get to more of them for special occasions and top tier hospitality. And hummus. All the hummus. Thanks for an amazing night, team!

The experience at Laser Wolf is 10 out of 10!!! I loved sampling all the different spreads, salads, and vegetables from the Salatim platter. The date-harissa wings and the ribeye steak both were very delicious with such vibrant flavors. Shoutout to our waitress, Raven, who was excellent!

My second time at Laser Wolf. First time was really good, back in February. Demand was high so we had to settle for a 9:15pm reservation this time around, which was late but ended up being fine.Love the funky retro type of vibe when you first walk in. The restaurant has this cool vibe of new but old, all at once. The staff was wearing Hawaiian shirts, giving that Magnum PI vibe. Started off with cocktails, which was followed quickly by a great selection and assortment of dips which were also AMAZING, as good as my first visit.I topped off the dips with by selecting the Dorade fish as my protein. The Dorade was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection with a nice little crunch from the grill. Excellent preparation. My fiends ordered chicken, beef and lamb which I also had an opportunity to taste. They were all equally as good. Each of the meats were tender and flavorful.Finished off dinner (already stuffed) but who can refuse dessert! I tried the coffee ice cream option. First, I'm not a coffee flavored ice cream fan. But I will say that not did the dessert look good, it also tasted reallyyy good. Prior to Laser Wolf, Israeli food had not been high on my radar of preferences for cuisine. I must say, these two visits have shifted my opinion. Great spot to hit if you are local or visiting.

Laser Wolf is pretty hard to get into. We finally got reservations at like 9 pm on a weekday. The place is pretty crowded when you walk in.We came a bit early so they had a bench to sit and wait until our table was ready. The table had checkers all over it and seat back chairs. The meal comes with salatim that is refillable and comes with the meal. The salatim consisted of hummus/pita, avjar, spicy cucumber, kale babaganoush, braised fennel with orange, cabbage with tomato's/amba, Yemenite Pickles w/Shipka Peppers, Mushrooms w/Swiss Chard & Sour Cherry, Gigante Beans w/Castelvetrano Olives, Broccoli w/Chickpeas & Harissa, Smoked Beets. My highlight salatim dish was the smoked beets (I usually hate the taste of beets and they were able to overcome it). The spicy cucumbers was good as well. Ultimate dish on the salatim was definately the hummus. It was nice that the waitress asked to refill our pita when we were out. For the meal we split Salmon Shishlik and Chicken Shishlik. The entrees are objectionably smaller than the salatim. I really, really loved the chicken. I think the chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted like it was good quality. The salmon had a perfect sear mark but missed the mark on taste. The celery on the side of the salmon was pretty good for dipping the fish into. The night ended with dessert (which is also included). The ice cream (brown sugar soft serve) was so good. It was creamy. But what really made it special was the coating- Sicilian Pistachio Rice Crunch. It made it taste like it was in a mini cone.

Laser Wolf has been on my list for ages. It's been tough getting a res in NY so finally managed to try it out on a trip to Philly. Each person has to order a main and they give the salatim and dessert for "free" with that. Not exactly "free" especially when you see the price of the mains (expensive for a such small portions of protein), but I suppose since the price factors in the salatim and dessert, it sorta averages out. The Salatim platter was great, with the assorted pickled vegetables, dips, and the fluffy pita. We got the beef kebab and the cauliflower. The beef was cooked to perfection - tender and meaty. The cauliflower was also great with the spicy tzatziki at the bottom and the pine nuts. Dessert was two choices of soft serve - we opted for both. The brown sugar soft serve wasn't too sweet - very mild flavor of molasses - kinda tasted more vanilla-y with some molassy hint. The lime coconut sorbet was very tart- zingy with some bitterness from the lime rind. Overall, the vibe and service at Laser Wolf were great. Food was pretty good. Better value if you ask for refills on the salatim (hint: they also allow you to take it home and give you nice portioned boxes).
