Okay I used to go here a LOT when I lived here. It's so cute inside and all the food and drinks are SOOOO good! I usually always get the Enchiladas de Crema (so good). But even just that come with rice and beans (mine was beans in a soup so good) and chips and some dip. Not a fan of the dips but it's the thought that counts. I went the other day when I was in town and had a to go order. All four parking spots for the curbside to go were full with NO one in them. I was the only one there getting something to go. That really irks me! Like tow them please that is so rude. So just as soon as I arrived I was already disappointed. Food and ambiance is good. Server who checked me out was nice. But still annoyed at those cars....

The reason I'm rating it one star is because the food they have is not appealing to eat and not that many options they have in the menu I ordered crispy tacos and with rice beans they brought it in a metal stand which was not necessary because all the taco crumbs landed inside the metal I barely could eat it and there was mainly beef and less tomato and lettuce and the rice and beans had no taste not going there much and the margaritas are huge and not many flavors to pick from

Went to the restaurant when we passed through Houston. The staff were all very nice and the service was excellent. The low stars are because the food was just ok for me. The chips are alright but I did love the green salsa. I shared a plate with my husband that had a cheese tamale and tamale which he really liked, and a beef taco and ordered a beef and bean chalupa. The taco and chalupa were ok. The music was a little loud so it was hard to have a conversation without raising your voice a little.

Friends were coming in late at IAH one night for a quick overnight layover in Houston. Was surprised to find that there weren't very many late night food options in the area! We checked everything and most places only opened until 10! Las Mamacita's ended up being one of the later ones so we decided to stop by! You can't go wrong with margaritas and Mexican! Tableside guac was delicious! Fresh Avocadoes and they seasoned everything perfectly to your liking! The beef fajitas were really tender and flavorful! We ended up liking it a lot and thought the food was pretty good. It wasn't our first choice for Mexican but glad we tried it cause it surpassed expectations!

Last night was the third and LAST time. It was late and although I knew it was not my favorite, I was up to try it again. There were only 4 tables with patrons and more than enough wait staff and we had horrible service, not to mention my enchiladas were mega salty. Hard pass for future, especially when one drink is more than a full plate.

The food is very good. I am in love with the Burrito California. I believe it's one of their best things in the Menu. The service for me was always great and I like the whole decor they had

My coworker and I stopped by for lunch and opted to sit at the table at the bar, which only had two other tables with customers and the main dining wasn't busy either, this is around 11:45am. It took a few minutes for the bar waitress to take our order, as we noticed she is the one who also prepares the alcoholic drinks (keep in mind it wasn't busy overall). While taking our order, I also asked for some of their habanero salsa on the side to go with my tacos. Our entrees came out about 10 minutes later, no salsa, and it took about another 10 minutes to get her attention and once we did, mentioned the salsa she apologized, started back to tending to the other drink orders and by this time I'd already eaten one taco and was holding off on eating the second until the salsa came. My coworker got her attention and asked for the salsa and she again apologized and went straight to the kitchen and brought back the salsa. The ground beef crispy tacos were really flavorful, not dripping of grease, the shell was very crunchy and didn't break apart at each bite and I loved that it was packed with fresh shredded iceberg lettuce and tomatoes and shredded cheese. The rating is on the service in which it won't deter us from coming back, just thinking it was an off day for the waitress.

First thing is there is a sign or two warning you to lock your car and hide your things. I know that this is Houston and we should be doing this anyway but it definitely was telling of the environment. The smell of the place was like a restroom not a restaurant. I didn't plan to order any food and was just meeting a friend there to catch up and maybe have a cocktail. It was too late to change plans so we decided to just go anyway. The chips and salsa were ok. I decided to order the shrimp tacquitos and it came out looking very good, however, a bite from one of them had this very off putting animal like (not shrimp) taste which was gross!!!! I'll never return here nor will I recommend anyone I know dine here. This place is not it.
