It's a small location along a busy road but the interior will quickly slow down your pace. There are multiple servers who are quick to attend with Spanish being the dominant language spoken inside. The menu while not expansive has a comfortable spread of options that isn't overwhelming nor limiting. Every Saturday I order breakfast for my office and it is consistent and well prepared. If you're looking for some breakfast tacos or huevos rancheros (add barbacoa) this is the spot for you !

The food was very subpar. The rice looked old and tasted old with no flavor. The beans were not good either. Quesadilla cheese was very chewy. I just was unsatisfied. No flavor at all. The service was good they checked on me often. My bigger concern was the waitress women and the customer men. They were very feely and touchy. Rubbing the men's hands. Only men came in here!! It's seems like a brothel or prostitution ring on the low. Y'all be safe. Maybe that's why the food was so nasty. Doing other things with their hand.

This is a place for the humble eater. You're fixed just enough to feel good about leaving versus the serving sizes that make you feel sluggish. The quality of their food is predictable and the ladies are always friendly. I will say that you'll see the occasional person come in to sell treats or ask for a donation of some sort. Most of these people are just honest locals that are simply trying to raise some money. Overall, it's a good place and I stop by when I'm in the area.

The food is amazing and affordable. Had the Huevos con tocino , and the huevos divorciados. Both plates came with fresh and delicious refried beans. fried papas {potatoes) and fresh homemade Tortillas of harina. The lunch and dinner is equally good. AAA+++

We like to try different Mexican food establishments for both breakfast and dinner. Today was breakfast and Las Fuentes was our choice to try. We arrived to a small taqueria on the end of a strip center right off East Tidwell. Parking lot had quite a few cars so I thought we would be waiting but to my pleasure we went in and seating was available. The restaurant looked freshly painted and still refurbishing one side of restaurant. The booth was brand new furniture. A good sign that the restaurant will be good, is the chips and salsa. In my opinion the chips were good and the red salsa was excellent. We asked for the green salsa which it to was good For breakfast I had Huevos Rancheros w/ pork chop. My better half had the menudo. The menudo came in a small bowl. The broth wasn't the dark red that lets you know it is rich and flavorful. It was a lighter red not very flavorful but not bad. I would say just ok. The tripe was clean no bad smells. Being menudo is not always the same every time its made they may have had an off day. I would give it a 6.5 rating. The Huevos Rancheros was in my opinion, excellent. Eggs were over easy, potatoes were very good, refried beans above average and pork chop was seasoned very very well. In my opinion, Las Fuentas Taqueria is worth trying for breakfast. They had quite a number of breakfast choices, a decent crowd of patrons and parking was easy.

My sister introduced this place to me. This is the only place I will eat the menudo. Delicious. The barbacoa tacos were also great. The service is wonderful, very friendly. We've met the owner and because we share the last name, he recognizes us every time. We make the drive from Cypress just to have breakfast here.
