Las Fuentes Mexican Restaurant

Food and service was great no complaints. Order the large margarita and it was plenty for two next time one to split.

The place smells like a stale cigarette from the residual of the bar that they have inside there. I like their guacamole and I like their cheese enchiladas but being asthmatic, I cannot go in there

Oh man. I really wish this place would improve with its food. It's just awful though. My family has come here countless times throughout the last 20+ years. And it started out okay, but has gotten a little worse every year. Last night was the icing on the cake though! The 'green salsa' was rancid and chunky. And I ordered a veggie quesadilla.. and it came with asian stir fry veggies inside. Lima beans, snow peas, etc. It was so gross. So I had to pick it all out, and paid $11 for a 1/2 order of cheese quesadillas. This place has gotten lazy, and is barely even Mexican food anymore. Really disgusting and disappointing. They are too busy to have this poor of quality. No excuses.

We were in heavy traffic on 290 E headed home on Easter Sunday from a weekend of Blue Bonnet gazing and we were STARVING!!! Then traffic slowed to stop and go. We bailed off in Hempstead with no idea where we could find a restaurant that was open. And then we saw Las Fuentes!Las Fuentes looks like it could be great or not so great from the outside. The food was very good, it was served very fast and the prices are great. It reminds me of Papasitos in Houston for style and quality, but the prices are much lower. WE LOVED IT!! Thank you Las Fuentes!

We had fajitas and a beef burrito a small margarita all was fresh and fulfilling. Great Sunday eats

Do not get the pitcher of margaritas!! Taste like sugar water. After receiving our food, didn't see the waiter until a helper tried to take our food and we needed to-go boxes. Food was okay but wouldn't advise you to get the stuffed avocados. The red salsa taste like soap and was very warm for some odd reason.

Great margaritas ask for the premium jumbo I like it with Don Julio but that's a personal preference one is all you will need can you say fish bowl it's so big.

Ambiance was nice! Service was pretty slow. The food was amazing though, that's why I would rate it 4/5 stars. I went on what most people would consider a busy night. I don't blame them for the service, maybe it was just the server I had that wasn't very attentive. I would definitely go back again. Very mixed crowd.

Service is always great, enchiladas were delicious, margaritas are very good, not sour or tart. Highly recommend this restaurant. Ambiance is perfect, no hip hop loud music drowning out your conversation.

Enjoy going there, the last time I visited the location on 2920. The beef fajita in the burrito, tasted funny like it was burnt. The manager took care of it for me. Will definitely go back.
