The location is great for me because it's 5 minutes from the job. I can rush in and out. The pan de Bono is awesomely delicious. It's better than the one have had from that other restaurant; we will name no names. I am very happy with the empanadas as well. I got the beef one. Definitely better than the other place. Will I come back here? Like "Jenifa" will say "yels ke!" I will be back. You should go too.

$15 for 10 pandebonos? They weren't even good. What a rip-off! The place is not inviting either.

I've been here twice now and can definitely say this food is as good as it gets! They serve up all kinds of classic Colombian treats for breakfast and lunch. So far, I've tried: Pan de Bono - deliciously cheesyBunuelos - more subtle cheese flavor, but my Cali friend says they're really authentic. Lechona - holy mother of all that is tasty! This stuff is legit! Lechona is roasted suckling pig that is stuffed and spiced with all kinds of goodness. They serve it here every other Saturday (except during the holiday season). Get it! It's delish. Huevos Perricos Breakfast - super duper filling breakfast. Eggs scrambled with tomato and green onion have a great flavor. And the Plantains were fried to crispy perfection. And like every Colombian would expect, you get a side of rice, too, which works nicely with the huevos. Empanadas - I tried a sweet one filled with Guayaba paste and cheese. Suuuper good, try it!And last, but certainly not least, the Pony Malta - this is the only place I've ever seen carry this soda. I don't typically drink soda, but for this I'd change up my rules. It's delicious, and if you ever see it anywhere, try it!The lady who runs the place is from Bogota and knows her way around the kitchen. I can't wait to get back here.

So this is a weird one. The food is DELICIOUS! On point! Closest to authentic Colombian food I have found in Houston BUT the service is really terrible! The only way I can truly enjoy the food is when I order it delivery lol

Found this place while in the area and it was the perfect place to satisfy my craving for authentic Latin food. They had exactly what I wanted for breakfast (eggs, rice, tostones) with a nice mango shake to top it off. Wish they were closer to my side of town but I will definitely come again when I'm in the area or when the crazing is strong enough for the drive.

Take this from a Colombian that's lived in the Houston area for more than 17 years, there is not a better Colombian bakery in town. Their buñuelos, pandebonos, almojabanas etc. are delicious. Sure the location of the bakery is not the best one, but I go there for the taste. They have been around longer than I have been here.

HORRIBLE SERVICIO

It was a Sunday and felt like having some Colombian goodies, I used to know owner and had not been to this small bakery in a while. Stopped by around 2:15 but didn't know they close at 2:30 on Sundays. There was not much left since it was around closing time. Lady who was there was super nice. I ended up buying some Malta and an cheese arepa (corn patty) which was okay. I usually go for their pandebonos; they are the most that taste like Colombian ones from all the Colombian bakeries. Quick tip I have learned call ahead of time to make sure they have food available.

This place is what I call a hidden gem of Colombian food. Usually if you don't hear about it from someone you wouldn't even know it exist. It's a restaurant but also a bakery so there is always fresh traditional Colombian breads. I would highly recommend. It is not a date or fancy dinner type place. It's more of a quick bite stop.

Friendly service but if you are expecting pan de bono or pan de yuca that tastes like those you get in Colombia then you might want to pass on coming here. I didn't try anything else so I can't provide an opinion on the other offerings.
