Was curious to try this place off of TooGoodToGo. I didn't realize there were multiple locations. I am guessing the St Joe's one was first but maybe Rising Sun was. Only this particular location seems to do TooGoodToGo . The steak was tasty. The seasoned/slightly spicy mustard was fine but not like omg gotta have it sorta deal. Parking is street parking. Service is quick and the staffer didn't want me to wait 21 minutes and trusted that I would swipe. English was not his first language but we were still able to communicate the necessities enough. Hard working people and very busy here. Great location to serve the local neighborhood here. They get 5 stars because I got a randomly good deal. I sense Del Rossi's cheesesteaks are better based on what I've read and heard but this place ain't too shabby. The regular price of a regular sized cheesesteak is around $16 and the deal was for $6. The quality I got for $6 randomly I consider phenomenal.

This was my first cheesesteak ever... so I don't have anything to compare it too... with that being said it was good. This place was recommended by someone and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a hole in the wall type of spot... with only 4 seats inside. They do have picnic style tables outside. Unfortunately there was no umbrella to keep us shaded. The hoagie roll was soft and the meat was tender. Personally I needed More cheese and more peppers and onions. The meat also needed sessonings (sazon/salt/pepper) ... the staff was friendly and the place as clean. I'd definitely come back. I also ordered cheesecake.. they outsource from a bakery and it was also very tasty and rich.

I Just placed an order from this establishment today 8/7/23 for delivery to my hotel here in downtown Philly; when the driver delivered my food, he only delivered a white plastic bag with my 2 liter sprite and a small white paper bag with my fries, a Philly cheesesteak, and my daughters wings, I never got my 2 Garlic Rolls @ $2.10 a piece and an order of Cajun Fries of $5.95, I called to let them know and he said let me call the driver, which he did and he said the driver said he delivered everything, that he dropped of a big brown bag, I said he never dropped off a big brown bag, the front desk agent at the hotel looked at the hotel cameras and verified he never dropped off a big brown bag, and told the person from the restaurant this, but the guy said " my manager said we can't do any." DONT ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT GUYS, they seem to be making money ripping customers off!!!

We hopped across Girard Ave. for a quick bite while we were waiting for our laundry to dry at the laundromat across the street. The inside is a bit rundown, and not a lot of seating, but we were taking out. The menu is fairly extensive with hot and cold sandwiches, pizza, an appetizers. The hoagies we got were great, and very good sized; they use beef, turkey, and fish proteins, no pork, FYI. The pizza was just ok. Good sauce and cheese, but the crust was a bit odd. Hard to describe, but a bit too "frozen pizza" for my liking. Not horrible, but definitely not something I'd likely get again. A solid neighborhood pizza and steak place!

I mean, I'm sure the food is good but it's hard to taste it over the insanely loud terrible service you get here. There's a big difference between bad customer service and intentional rudeness. I'm so sorry, Larry's, to have offended you for coming into your business to spend money on food they make better at Wawa to be treated like an irritant for not knowing you don't accept credit cards in 2022. Maybe if you concentrate on at least being civil to your customers you will make more money and have less of a terrible reputation.

Fairly overpriced but tasty. In an easy to spot location and the employees are nice enough. More than $15 seems excessive for what you're getting as it doesn't come with any onions or peppers unless you want to pay more but the buffalo chicken cheesesteak was very tasty.

I ordered from Larry's today through a delivery service. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered a corned beef special. The meat was grisly, tough and chewy. The rye bread was not fresh. I also ordered a chicken nugget platter. Do yourself a favor and get nuggets from Wendy's or McDonald's. Will never order from there again

How do you mess up a hamburger?!!I took one bite and could only finish half of it. The beef tasted cheap, but fortunately, my dog eats anything! Since the pandemic, I'm positive this place has gone under new management and staff. I noticed that the quality is lower and the prices are higher. (Ten chicken fingers and that lousy burger for pick-up was $30!)I've lived in the neighborhood for years and order from Larry's all the time. Since last year, I stopped ordering the cheesesteaks... then the pizzas... then the hoagies-- and now a frickin' burger! Sadly, it all ends today. From now on, Fairmount Pizza or CityView will be my go-to for take-out.

I bought a grill chicken ceaser salad on Mother's day. I always buy salads from Larry's but this time I got a disgusting salad with metal shavings in it, it was horrible and all they did was to send back another salad with a pocket full of dumb apologies. I'll never order from them again.
