LanZhou Ramen

I was craving some asian broth dish and having recently eaten Pho and Japanese Ramen and Korean ox bone soup, LanZhou sounded like a new experience. I arrived at the restaurnat around 5:30 and was sat right away although they were a little busy. There were plenty of staff and attended to my table without much wait time. I ordered a Roast Pork Handmade Noodle and stir fried pork noodles and soup dumplings. The table and overall restaurant was clean and food did take a few mins to come out as there were so many people right after we came in but it was SOOOO worth the wait. The broth was rich with Chinese spices and I was more than satisfied with the quality of the broth, the noodles, and everything else. The soup dumbplings were well seasoned and tasteful. The stir fried noodles though was my absolute favorite. I don't know what they put in it but I was craving it after a few hours. I believe this is one of my favorite spots for Chinese dishes and I will definitely be back soon.

This place is good but not amazing to me. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong things? I would come here for a quick dependable bowl of noodles, but I wouldn't lose my mind about it. The pork buns are pretty good though!Also kinda disappointing because the staff made us leave our umbrellas by the door, and someone stole one of our umbrellas, but I guess you can't do much to control that.

I had heard about this place before visiting since my husband has been here many times while traveling for work. I suggest come with friends or family, so can share food together.Their fresh hand-pulled noodles are a signature dish, and their pan-fried dumplings and 小籠包 (steamed dumplings) are absolutely delicious! The owner even had the chef show us how the handmade noodles are prepared ! it felt like a mini tourist experience getting to watch the process.I was pretty much full just from the appetizers, they serve generous portions! Definitely recommend it to anyone stopping by Atlanta.

Noodles were not that chewy maybe undercooked bc it was a bit hard. Beef in the beef noodle soup didn't have a lot of flavor and same with the broth. I really loved the knife cut noodles though. Great texture and chew. Scallion pancakes were not super fluffy maybe slightly hard as well.

My husband and I came in on a Friday night and it was packed, but we were seated within 5 minutes. We ordered the following dishes: 1. Beef Stew Hand-Pulled Noodle Soup2. Roast Duck Hand-Pulled Noodle Soup3. Oil-Pouring Beef Hand-Pulled NoodlesThe noodles were extremely fresh and springy, it was excellent. The broth for both dishes were light, yet full of flavor. Everything was delicious but the oil-pouring beef hand-pulled noodles is a must order! The service was very quick and efficient. We are definitely adding this restaurant into our rotation. Highly recommend.

I've heard this place was famous for their hand pulled noodles and received Michelin recognition for it! They have steamed pork soup dumplings for $10, which had a soft skin and lots of meat. I think they could have been juicier or had more soup inside, but it came out piping hot. I had the lamb hand pulled noodle soup. The noodles were soft, but I wasn't too impressed with the meat because it was so tough and chewy. Service was quick though with all the service workers bustling around. Utensils and chopsticks were not good quality.

Today's visit was very good. The only reason that it did not receive a 5 Star is because the Juicy Pork Dumplings are not so juicy, although they are awesome. The service usual for Buford Highway Asian restaurants. And the ambience is typical Chinese noodle house. There is so much to choose from.

The oil poured spicy chicken noodle was really salty and the noodles were undercooked. Overall, mediocre at best.

Great place & great food. Michelin-star restaurant at a reasonable price ($40 for 2 of us before tip). Service was iffy though; they never came to check on us (that's why im giving 4 stars instead of 5, otherwise it would have easily been 5)

Believe the hype! I had heard for years that this was some of the best ramen in Atlanta, and that was the truth. We came in on Saturday around noon, were seated quickly, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was incredible. I got hand-pulled noodles soup with pork, and, my friends, these were the best ramen noodles I've ever had. The pork was tender and tasty, but the noodles were the star of the show.
