Omg the homemade pimento cheese burger is life changing. They season their party perfectly with just black pepper. The quality is amazing. Best burger in town though I do like B-19, Stanton's, and TBJ (must remove seasoning & add Gouda though). I'm not a huge fan of the fries (TBJ and B-19 are amazing). But I do enjoy their friend green tomatoes or pickle chips provided they are not cooked with onion rings.

Ginormous burgers for a really good price. The onion rings were really good. The burger patty itself could have used some more salt but nothing that a little salt shaker can't fix.The fried pickles were a 10/10. Not too salty and such a nice texture. The service was really nice. The wait staff were very kind. The outside patio was cute. I got a burger with Mac and cheese in it which was spicy. The Mac and cheese part wasn't my favorite but everything else I liked. My husband had a burger with avocado and he really liked it.

Another delicious meal at this unusual and fun place. The dog was with us today so we sat outside. Food was great, service was great old-fashioned homestyle cooking -- a great experience all around.

This is such a great little spot for classic breakfast! The omelets are huge and so filling, the potatoes are seasoned well. They also have a lot of great desserts! My favorite is the chocolate molten lava cake, but they also have cobblers that are absolutely delicious. Will have to come back for the burgers!!

This quaint burger spot in the heart of town has managed to retain its old-school charm amidst the surrounding modernization of condos and apartments. The burgers are quite tasty with unique combinations you won't typically find elsewhere. The mac and cheese burger is surprisingly delicious, and the brisket burger is extremely satisfying. The southwest burger is also a winner. The double cheeseburger was the most unexciting option for me; it tasted somewhat plain in comparison to other burgers I've tried.

We found ourselves in town for a quick in and out job, and decided to stop by to have a lunch with the kin folk. Lankford is where there wanted to take us. It's been featured on the tv show Diners, Drive - Ins, and Dives. It was a late weekday lunch. It wasn't crazy busy. **This is a 3.5 Star Review.**I've had Lankford's on my H-Town Restaurant Bucket List for a few years. Fortunately, I had business to take care of in the area and was able to mark it off. First, the place is quaint. We sat outside on a wonderful 70-degree day (which is rare around these parts). The scenery is pretty much what you'd find in any other restaurant in a large city -- parallel-parked cars and buildings. This honestly reminded me of eating at Pat's (the famous cheesesteak joint) in Philly. Fun, indeed. Our server was in training, and he did a pretty good job. His trainer was excellent and made certain that he crossed his T's and dotted his I's. The beer menu here is good. I like to quaff local IPAs when possible, and Lankford had plenty of choices. I ordered my burger medium, and it came well. Not a deal-breaker, since it was fresh and juicy. Also, I order my burgers sans onions and tomatoes, but with extra pickles. It arrived spot-on ... along with the extra side of pickles. The tots arrived hot and crispy, just as they should. Bottom line: These folks make a good burger, and the service was wonderful. If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular.

Straight up awesomeness ambience is old school ice house. The service friendly and quick. My flexitarian partner had an old-fashioned burger she loved. Had the vegan option a black bean burger delicious. Friesgreat hot. And flavourful. Parking a bit of a challenge but that is all of the Innerloop. This is a first choice.

The food was absolutely incredible. I had the kids meal, because I wasn't feeling that hungry, and it was massive. For the price of 8 dollars ( plus tax as I remember ) it is way more worth it than fast food.The service was also good. They were nice about everything, the wait was a little long but that's natural running such a big restaurant. And lastly the ambience / mood was also good, and overall, I would recommend anyone in the area to visit this restaurant.

If you enjoy good food and family vibes you should go! I moved into the midtown area recently and pass the restaurant pretty consistently, finally decided to try and it was well worth it. Order the brisket burger to go and the staff treated me extremely well, very pleasant, and accommodating! The burger was also phenomenal, the price was very reasonable for the portions of both burger patty & brisket provided + the taste!
