Lama Mediterranean Persian Cuisine

After reading some great reviews online we determine to stop in for Fathers Day. We had a party of 5 and arrives at 5:30pn on a Saturday. The restaurant has a really nice, clean, welcoming vibe. We were immediately seated. Within about 30 minutes the place started filling up. The menu is really big and though I'm fairly accustomed to this type of cuisine, it could be a bit overwhelming for some. After being greeted and had our drinks delivered, the owner stopped by the table to welcome us. Everything on the menu looked great and he recommended the family platter, Persian style. You can get it Mediterranean if you like. But as he is Persian, he said it's like a home cooked meal and promised that we would not be disappointed. EVERYTHING was perfect. The appetizers: pita, hummus, fresh herbs with cucumbers, etc were fantastic. The entree had everything; lamb chops (to die for), steak, chicken, shrimp, all of it was cooked to perfection and wonderfully seasoned. The saffron rice was delicate and yummy. We sat completely content and the owner came back over to check on us. After gushing over the great experience we had he sent us complimentary tea and desserts. This place is truly great and I hope others will feel the same. We need great restaurants like this to stay in business. Especially those that are locally owned and operated. No doubt this family pours their hearts and souls into the business

The food here was phenomenal! Do not let the prices scare you, because the plates are priced very fair for the amount of food they serve you. The food we got ended up being enough to feed us for multiple meals (we took lots of it to go, haha!)My partner and I got the mixed shawarma plate, the lamb chops, and the veggie appetizer sampler (I forgot the actual names from the menu). Each item on those plates was incredible and cooked perfectly. The lamb chops were melt in your mouth tender, the baba ganoush was smoky & savory, the salad was lemony and delicious, and the chicken shawarma was tender and cooked just right. Oh and the garlic sauce, YUMM. There's honestly so much more I could say about how great the food was, but you get the gist.Now let's talk about the ambiance. The place is beautiful inside! The decor is great with many places for photo ops. We were pleasantly surprised to walk in to music and a belly dancer on the Friday night that we went. The music was really loud, but we asked to sit on a quieter side so that we could talk.We stayed for dessert and hookah after dinner and enjoyed their beautiful patio which is adorned with lights and comfortable seating.The service was also splendid! Our server whose name I believe was Sheila was super sweet, gave great suggestions, and was very accommodating to us throughout the night. They also gave us a complimentary tea to end the night!Finally, we met the owner Ali, and he gave us some history around the restaurant and was also very kind and fun to chat with.Suffice it to say that we have found a new favorite Mediterranean spot, and we can't wait to go back!

I brought my mother here for a belated Mother's Day dinner and we both absolutely loved this place! We ordered the halloumi and stuffed grape leaves for appetizers and had the roasting chicken for two as our main entree. More than enough food and we ended up with 3 to-go boxes. Everything was delicious! The service was outstanding, from our friendly and skilled bartender to our lovely server, Doris. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for quality Mediterranean food and shisha (the watermelon mint shisha was wonderful). We sat in the outdoor garden area, surrounded by stunning plant life and strong lights. 10/10.We will definitely come back.

First time visiting this restaurant with my husband and it was the best Mediterranean Persian food I've eaten in a lonnnnng time. Service was excellent. Plates of food were plentiful and so fresh. We were literally talking about the freshness of the babganoush and how we never like stuffed grape leaves but these changed our minds quickly as they were flavorful and fresh. The complimentary tea was a top notch ending. We also were there during the bell dancing and loved how she interacted with everyone!! Just a great place for just the two of us and even for groups. And to the owner Ali, we will make this a regular visit and I'm sad we had waited so long to find this place!!

Wow! What an unexpected experience. My husband and I had to take our daughter to a doctor's appointment in the area and were looking for someplace to have a healthy lunch. We saw a sign for Lama and decided to give it a try. It was so beautiful inside! Our daughter was in awe. We loved the complimentary mint tea. My husband and I ordered one of the dishes for two that came with two sides and two appetizers. Then we had three types of meat and rice with pita bread. It was our servers first day and she did a great job! She was helpful and checked in with us to make sure we were pleased with our meal. We definitely will be coming back!

I love this place! The food is always so delicious and the staff is amazing! We went for dinner tonight and the owner came to our table to check on us, and he was very kind and sweet and he also brought tea and baklava over to our table, such an incredible experience, also the belly dancer was such a sweetheart the ambiance was so much fun

We went here for the first time Saturday night. The atmosphere and decor are very nice. Our server Jordan was great. He was informative and attentive. The food was good, but not as delicious as we had been told to expect. The nutty hummus appetizer was delicious. We ordered the Mixed Persian platter for three. The steak, chicken and lamb were very good, but the shrimp and rice were both bland. More seasoning on both would have helped.The owner came to greet us and was very friendly. He informed us about the belly dancer and live music that were starting soon. He even invited us to move to a table with a better view. He then brought us complimentary tea and baklava. Both were delicious!

The food is amazingly delicious. At the end they serve you with a typical treat which is the most elegant set tea set. and sweet. The staff treats you with so much care and love. Our server, Jordan J. gave us such as extraordinary service. The owner comes to every table and talks to you. The atmosphere is so beautiful and home. Beautiful plants, fountains and best of all, Fridays and Saturdays evenings, they have a jazz singer and belly dance. I'll definitely will come back with my friends and family.

Incredible food for our first time here! Everything was so flavorful, and such a nice environment! Highly recommend this place. Jordan was our server and did so well!
