Lafitte's Crawfish

Lafitte Crawfish is always my first choice for seafood. Seafood is always fresh, prices are beyond reasonable, and the staff is nice and accommodating. Don't believe me? Go check them out for yourself!!! You won't regret it!!

If you're looking to cook seafood for your friends your family or even yourself but don't want to spend $20/lb+ at a restaurant, come here. Their extensive variety of seafood will amaze you as the prices don't compare to the quality. $11.95/lb for small lobsters and crab, is a STEAL. You'll enter into a sketchy area when at night but when you arrive there will be pools of fresh seafood. From lobster, crab, shrimp, Alaskan king crab, snails, to fish, your options are endless. For 5 small lobsters I ended up paying only $75. Think about it, this is a meal for 5 ($13pp). The owner is a sweet heart, she's fluent in Vietnamese and English and can explain to you the variety if needed. This will now be my go to when getting fresh seafood.

For a company with the Crawfish in its name it should have crawfish otherwise close your door. For the past two weeks i stopped by and they said they didn't have crawfish. When i peeped in into their cooler they had crawfish. He claims he's need to save them for this restaurant customers, while i see other people walked with crawfish. I've been coming here for years, now will tell all my friends and family to go either to HEB where there's less attitude or Frsh Seafood for their seafood.

Stumbled upon this place driving by one day. I thought it was a restaurant at first but, this is actually where everyone in town gets their seafood from. I walked in and saw huge tanks housing live fish, lobster & my favorite spot prawns. Didn't know they were a wholesale seafood company at all. I got blue crabs here and they were a great size! And, as the name states they DEFINITELY sell a crap ton of crawfish. Wouldn't be surprised if they served half of Houston crawfish. I am done going to HEB for crawfish ever since I found this gem. Ask for Andrew when you go! He always picks out the freshest for me when I visit!

Just got a crawfish boiler to have a crawfish boil.. went to this and one other spot.. the prices were pretty goood I think 3.75 per pound but I could be wrong. The customer service could've been better but not awful... the crawfish was very fresh and was a pretty decent size. She got us in and out so no complaints on my end. It's where I'll be going to get my live crawfish from now on

I've been going to Lafitte's for many years. Andrew has always been the best when it comes to getting crawfish and crab!

This place is a great little GEM!!! They have all kinds of seafood, and at very reasonable prices. They show you what you are getting before you buy it. They are my definite go to during crawfish season. The crawfish are always clean and big. As long as I am here I will shop here.

If you're not sure about la new clothes, then figure out, how do they lafitte you?Great crawfish, for sure, but bad attitude. One too many times did I see their truck come by on Bellaire or in Viet-town driving like an absolute psychopath.I've seen them almost have 2 crashes on Bellaire, one of them was into us, and you can't drive like that in a work truck - you just can't. For obvious reasons. Because you end up with a review like this.5 for the food. 1 for putting our lives at risk. 3 average.

Very cute place. Prices are very affordable. They are super sweet people. I believe it's a family shop the dad and daughter were very sweet, informative, and helpful
