Ladder 15

Stopped in here to watch a little football one Saturday. This is the Ohio State watch bar. The food menu was limited when we came, which was a bummer because there weren't many options for us. We got the brisket cheese fries and cheesesteak egg rolls. Both were fine. I liked the texture of the fries a lot. But neither were out of this world. Plus, it was a bummer the menu was so small, so there wasn't much else for us to order.Beer selection is decent. But if you are pregnant (like me), there are no non-alcoholic beer options. It'll be water or soda for you. Service was way understaffed. Only 3 people were serving and one of those was behind the bar. Bathrooms were clean. No staff wore masks. Yelp says they open at noon. Google says 11am on Saturday. Today, they opened at 11:30.

Ladder 15 is always the go to spot for my friends and I! Always have so much fun here. The music and food is great and the service is the best! Highly recommend!

I definitely don't have to return here. There was a $10 cover, for who knows what. If you're in your 30s or above, you're going to feel ancient in this place. If you're 21 and under, I guess it's a spot to go. It was weird to me, as everyone was just standing around, no drinks or nothing. It definitely was over capacity though or people just standing there. It wasn't really a vibe and a waste of a cover fee.

Not gonna lie, I'm mad. There's only ONE kind of popcorn chicken on the menu, the Nashville hot - which I wanted. I ordered it, and they brought me plain old pieces of popcorn chicken with a side of BBQ sauce . That's not what's on the menu, and that's not what I paid for. If I want them plain I'll ask for that, and I wouldn't come all the way here for the flavored ones like I did. I had to eat them anyway because I was out of time but I don't know why you wouldn't just put the Nashville as an option on the menu rather than the expected basic order if you're going to give people something not even listed on the menu.

I dread the thought of going to Ladder 15. I'm over a packed scene of bros and hoes. I was so pleasantly surprised with my recent experience watching the final Eagles game of 2018 season there. My crew arrived prior to the game and was able to snag two high tops. Our group grew and they allowed us to drag an additional high top over, as long as we did it ourselves. Fine by me! We set up in front of a large TV.Andy was the sole server of the day. One would think it would make a person crazy. He was busy, but funny and personable; the perfect way for someone in customer service to be. With that said, it did take some time to order, and it was easier to get drinks at the bar. The bar had TVs with the game on too, so it really was no big deal.I ordered the spicy chicken wrap, without the mayo. It came out as a chicken sandwich. I was hungry and didn't want to wait for it it be corrected. Instead of the mayo, I asked for a side of guacamole. The sandwich ended up being super tasty. I had the Caesar side salad instead of fries hit the spot. It was a really fun spot to watch the game. Great energy and not the packed craziness of a Saturday night. Between the hospitality of Andy, the great game day atmosphere and the tasty food, I'm willing to overlook my preconceptions and a few little imperfections of the day.

I stopped at Ladder 15 for a couple of drinks over the weekend. We stopped in around 9 PM and there were plenty of tables and bar seats available. My first impression was the interior was surprisingly spacious and very clean. A bartender greeted us immediately after we sat down-which was nice. She was super friendly and inviting.Great place for beer and bar food, however their liquor selections is limited. Drinks are a bit pricey but this is expected in the downtown area. The kitchen closed at 9 but the bartender offered us pretzels and other snacks to hold us over. After disappearing to the kitchen she came back and offered to take our order which was unexpected. We were appreciative of her convincing the kitchen to prepare our food. The quac and cheese curds were delish!We left just before 10:30 and as we were leaving a dj was set up and tables were being moved to create a dance floor. It looked like it would be a good time unfortunately we had to head to another bar to meet friends and didn't get to check out the dj. I would go again.

This is a fun place to go out on a weekend night. It seems hit or miss though depending on the crowd. Regardless if the bar is empty or not they always charge a $5 cover which is annoying. Definitely a younger crowd that comes here.

I was in line to usr the restroom at the end of the night. We had been waiting for 30 minutes and then they told us we had ti leave rven though we had been in line. I questioned this decision to the bouncer and he was instantly physically aggressive. Have fun at this establishment y'all.Paul

I come every week for game night. Andy always welcomes me with a smile and a handshake. I drive 50 miles to come HERE because of the welcoming atmosphere.

I had two (2) drinks here. All of my friends and I all thought we got drugged. None of us were even drunk - like I said all had about 1-2 drinks. I've never felt worse than that night/the morning after. We all did the right thing and got our drink directly from the bar. Also, vibes are so weird they don't really have a dance floor and everyone just stands around awkwardly. If you're going to go out in the city, go to McGillians, Concourse, or Woodys instead.
