Back in NC again and had to hit up La Victoria. I always love their expansive menu for both food and drinks. While the food can be slightly pricier, it's worth it. The ingredients are always delicious and portions are generous. The drinks are the same way with ample strength and flair. I love that the space has patio seating as well as clean and open indoor seating. The bar is well stocked and staff are attentive.

I came for lunch on a weekday and ordered some tacos: Carne Asada Tacos and Birria Con Mole Tacos. Both were good, packed with flavors and topped with a decent amount of meat and toppings. The chips and salsa that came with the meal were also quite tasty. The service was prompt and friendly, the space is clean, and there is a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a bit tricky since the restaurant is in a shopping center which can get busy during meal times. The price point is a little higher than I would have expected, but the food is solid.

First time here and was kind of skeptical about a Mexican restaurant here in North Carolina but tried it out anyways. First impression of the restaurant itself gave us Tulum vibes, the concrete walls, wood accents, and green foliage. It was very nice. Then we ordered their chicken roll, steak and shrimp fajitas, and their pastor torta. Would've gotten the carnitas but I asked if it was more on the wet side or dry side and they told me it was more dry, so I had to pass. Chicken roll was really good. Shredded chicken was moist and had a lot of flavor and it was a good starter. Steak and shrimp fajitas (wife's dish) said it was good. Flavors were all there, loved the char on the shrimp and steak and veggies were good. Pastor torta surprised me cause I did not think they would add pineapple and that's usually makes any pastor dish stand out. It was delicious but I would've not added beans but that's just my preference. Service was decent. The waiter was very nice but it got super busy and the attentiveness went down. I get it, it was at capacity and there was only 3 waiters covering the whole restaurant. Just thought if this is a regular type of night, might want to invest a little more on employees. But the 3 did great. Overall I had a pleasant time and the food was great. A must try, when it's not too busy.

First off, the service was amazing. From the friendly host staff to our amazing server everyone was super attentive and on the ball. The food was ok. Not great, not bad, just ok. The chips were fantastic lol. The birria quesadilla was well executed but lacked that burst of flavor you expect. The pineapple fajitas were creative and looked great - but mostly chicken inside with very little beef, shrimp or bacon and the 3 tiny corn tortillas that come with it aren't nearly enough. I wouldn't say steer clear of La Victoria, but there are other Mexican places I'd choose first.

My wife ordered the Quesa Birria tacos and they were the most bland, tasteless tacos she's ever had. I got the smoky asana tacos and they were tiny. Wife's cocktail tasted watered-down, the bartender couldn't produce a smile if his life depended on it, we had to ask for utensils after other people at the bar got theirs and we didn't. Also, a 16 OZ beer is $5, but a 24 OZ is $9? Almost twice the price for 150% more product. That's a rip-off. A highly disappointing visit. One and done, not going back.

Birria tacos were everything I hoped for! Probably not better (and definitely not cheaper) than what you could get at a more local / smaller taco spot, but still really delicious.

My wife was like, "we don't need the dip, I'm gonna get full on chips..." And then proceeded to be amazed at how great the bean dip was the next 20 minutes! Yes, amazing flavors, amazing presentation, seems very upscale Mexican cuisine for reasonable regular prices. Loved the ambience, even for a quick lunch; we'll have to get a baby sitter and come back for dinner! Also - and maybe it's just because I had stale chips recently somewhere else, but the CHIPS were AMAZING! Again, can't say enough great things about this place. We're coming back!

My two daughters and I aren't from the Cary area, we needed to make a run to Bass Pro & decided to grab lunch here since we found it was the closest Mexican restaurant right around the corner. Unfortunately my texted receipt didn't list our server but she was amazing! (Especially with myself being somewhat picky along with my youngest daughter being VERY picky lol) Our orders came out perfectly even with our modified requests. It is a smaller space, but if we're ever in need to be in the area, we will for sure be back!
