La Tartine

So excellent! I came here unexpectedly for lunch today, because the place that I wanted to go to was open later. My husband search where we were standing for the closest excellent lunch restaurant, and it was nearby. We looked at the menu posted outside, and the soup and beef shawarma wrap looked good to both of us. The young woman behind the counter was very welcoming to us. She explained how the restaurant ordering worked- order at the counter and she brings the food to our table. Canned beverages were by the counter. They had a great selection. The day was warm, and we sat outside. I had excellent butternut squash soup. I tried my husband's sweet potato and corn soup. This was the best soup that I had in recent memory. For my main meal, I ate the entire large beef shawarma. It contained a lot of beef and was in a tasty sauce. I would not change anything about it. I met the very friendly owner from Lebanon. Between the food, and the friendly people at this restaurant, this is the place to go downtown for lunch!

We stopped in for lunch. The waiter was awesome. He made great suggestions. The food arrived and it had an elegant and thoughtful presentation. The food was delicious and flavorful. It was the best falafel I have ever had. They use some unique and softer spices that I hadn't encountered in my falafel before -- almost floral accents. It was incredibly good. My wife got the Schwarma wrap and it was also very unique and delicious. The owner was present and he and the waiter wanted us to try some of their house made Lavender Lemonade - The lavender was grown right in their backyard! Several dishes on the menu appeared unique and interesting. There were many things on the menu I wish I had the time and appetite to try - so we'll be making a special trip back to West Chester just to go back to La Tartine. A++++

We stopped by La Tartine for lunch and enjoyed two soups of the day (sweet potato and corn and also butternut squash) with zaatar pita chips. We also had delicious, enormous beef shawarma wraps that seemed twice as big as any shawarma wrap that I had before. The food could not have been any better. The soups were hearty and filling and the wraps were full of perfectly cooked beef. The staff, including the owner, were super friendly! You order at the cash register and they bring you your meal. They have two tables outside and plenty of indoor seating. The restaurant has a wide selection of crepes, Mediterranean specialties, and bottled and canned drinks, homemade juices, and Lebanese coffee. For dessert they have two types of baklava and croissants. Definitely worth a visit!

The MOST delicious shawarma and chicken wrap I've ever had!!!! The wrap itself was so deliciously crispy and light, but held itself together so well without spilling a bunch of food out. Flavored so well and was so juicy and moist! Perfect price for the value and portions!

This place is amazing. The owner of the store is like a family member to us. He always asks how we're doing and takes time to talk to us. The store is always neat and clean, and it's a beautiful small business. The coffee is also slamming! All the food here is made with love and compassion. Can't wait to get dinner here again!!

The staff at La Tartine offer their customers warm hospitality and delicious food. Be sure to introduce yourself to Johnny, the owner, who asked me if he had made the gazpacho soup I ordered too spicy. I replied, "It is made just right." So good.Before the rest of my order was delivered to my table, I overheard a couple seated by the window. Without having taken a bite out of her food, the woman exclaimed, "Yum!" as she saw her crepe. I'm thinking she was a repeat customer.I also ordered a crepe: spinach, tomato, olives, red onion & feta, and I paired it with organic rose lemonade. La Tartine is perfect for a light, filling meal. I love it! This was my first visit of many more to come.

First time in the area and had a taste for Mediterranean. Ordered the beef shawarma wrap - one of the best I've had. Grilled slightly on the outside with tender meat, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onions and I believe a mix of tzatziki and hot sauce. Cooked beautifully and well-balanced, not to mention about the size of my forearm in length. Order was to go and wrapped neatly, very easy to tear the wrapper back a bit and inhale on the go. I'll definitely be stopping back when I'm in the area.

Food is 10/10. Everything is made fresh & amazing Service is 10/10 - everyone is so kind & helpful including the owner Vibe is great, good music & clean. All the lemonade are great as well

Lavender Lemonade is the best thing I have had in a long time. It has the perfect amount of lavender flavor. I also had a smoothie and a crepe. The crepe was so fresh, with just the right amount of lemon cream and honey. The restaurant is spotless. The gentlemen that served us were so helpful and friendly. This place is a star!

Would actually give additional stars if I could. Where to begin, smoothie and wrap were amazingly fresh, delicious and filling. The staff incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful. Space is charming, immaculate. I stopped by without ever being there before and I am all ready wishing I lived closer so I can plan my next trip. This place is a find.
