Ordered through Uber Eats for dinner and everything arrived warm and delicious! You can tell everything here is homemade. They should start selling their tortillas in the grocery store because I could eat 20 of them plain in one sitting. The one small piece of feedback I have is that we got al pastor and carne asada tacos and they taste the same, but don't get me wrong the overall taste is still delicious and flavorful!

I'm a huge fan of this place. I find their food absolutely delicious and the staff is always great. However.. I will say.. today (3/31/24) I ordered two orders of mango habanero shrimp tacos. When I arrived I curiously asked how many tacos come in an order. I was told one. So a total of two tacos. $15.96 for two tacos. Corn tortillas were stiff but the flavors were still good. But $15.96? Not worth it, at all.

This food is on point! The Americas taco has potatoes in it which was both unexpected and amazing! The carne asada burrito was delicious and they didn't skimp on the protein. It's a no frills spot that's clean with limited seating so we ate there. Overall good vibe and great service as well. I will definitely be back!

Experiences may vary. I quite enjoyed the enchiladas with al pastor- the meal was fresh and filling and huge/heavy, the meat was flavorful and juicy, and the Mexican rice and stewed black beans on the side were tasty and seasoned well. The tacos though had dry meat (various meats, including al pastor), like maybe they were under a heat lamp or something, and the refrieds were wayyyy too salty. We also tried the app sampler, which was nothing to rave about but not bad either: the cheese nachos were plain but the cheese sauce was flavorful, the elote was decent, and the chicken flautas were a bit on the burnt side but had lots of flavor. Mixed bag, but worth a try.

I stumbled upon this spot while driving through roslindale, kind of a right place right time vibe. The decor is super fun and bright with beautiful murals and colorful walls and furniture. They play (what sounds like to me, a white woman) traditional Mexican music too so it's a full sensory experience. The menu is surprisingly huge for a taqueria with more appetizer options I've seen at other places in Boston. Since I was ordering for me though I skipped the appetizer and went for a chicharron burrito with everything on it, the basic meter stick by which I measure all taco spots. The burrito was pleasantly hefty but the filling was a little heavy on rice and light on meat imo. The rice was super lime-y which I really liked. The flavor of the chicharron was awesome but the texture wasn't my all time favorite. The fatty parts weren't quite that melt in your mouth, super slow cooked that you get with the best chiccharon. I very much enjoyed my limeade. Service was a little slow considering everything is already cooked and just needs to be assembled but everyone was really nice. Since that visit I've ordered delivery from here once. M was really happy with his carnitas burrito. Flavorful, good meat to rice ratio, filling. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in my pork belly burrito. It kinda tasted like Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce. Not at all what you want or expect in a burrito. I only at half. They do offer some Texmex and non-traditional options (Cajun shrimp for example) but it didn't say on the menu (on DoorDash anyways) that the pork belly was one of them. Maybe I just need to try something other than burritos? I'm not totally writing this place off but I'm cautious about what I order now.

Long time customer- can't believe I have never reviewed this place. My family orders from this place every few weeks and eats in every few months. Its one of our short list of regular places. Food and customer service is always fantastic. Our favorites are the enchiladas, chimichanga, and taco salads. The taco shells and shell for taco salad are soooo good. We live near the restaurant so when we do delivery its always hot.

This was ordered from Grubhub but delivered by the restaurant. The food was barely warm when I received. An order of Fried fish enchiladas was a mushy mess. It's hard to know if they would have tasted a lot better had they been hot, but I doubt it. The flavor just wasn't there. The jalepeno poppers were encased in too much chewy breading and the jalepenos themselves were tough and chewy from not beig cooked well enough. They were cold. Refried beans were not hot but tasted okay. Many of the Grubhub reviews mention food that arrives cold from this restaurant. I called the La Taqueria to let them know this had happened to me and they did seem particularly concerned, nor did they offer to make it right.

I've driven past this place for years but never stopped to check out the food. Today ,I'm happy I did. I had the pechuga and chicken tacos. The pechuga was cooked properly and full of flavor. I was worried the tacos would be dry since they had no sauce but surprisingly the meat was moist. It could Still use a sauce though ! Service was quick and took about 15 mins. A previous review ,the owner said the food is cooked fresh to order which is greatly appreciated ! My only critique would be the condiments should be packed separately , they were wet from the meat juices.
