La Super Hueva Tacos y Tortas

I was really excited to try these because of the reviews and the pictures but like one of the other reviewer's I have to admit the tacos were quite a bit of a letdown.Food: we got four fajita tacos each and let me tell you what they had no flavor. I'm not sure if it was off day or what but they literally had no flavor. Never in my life have I put salt in my food but I almost wanted to put salt in my food today because I'm telling you right now it had zero flavor. Which was quite shocking because it looked amazing. Maybe they just forgot seasoning and we cut them on the off day. I hope so because the tacos look really good to be honest. Also like another reviewer said the meet was kind of chewy and I came out really quick. Really quick. The green sauce was good and the customer service was great. Maybe all the drunks think this is epic food bc they are going there late night after hours lol not sure but we were disappointed. Solid 3 stars. Could be 2 stars bc of the food but the customer service was great.

Loved it! I got the carne asada tacos and they tasted amazing. Service was also great, they came out after only a few minutes.

Oh the things I've read and heard about this truck. Like a myth or scary tale you tell your kids about. On a random, I had some cash with me and checked if this was here at the location (that gas station). And low and behold, right in front of my eyes, here it was: LA SUPER HUEVA!Tacos are kind of small but cheap where 4-5 will be a good meal. I loaded up with six (2 pastor, 2 trompo, 2 fajita), paid in cash, waited 7-8 minutes, got my food, and dashed home to dig in. First I'm amazed by the color of the tortillas; most I order have white corn tortillas, the yellow corn was a nice change up. Second, the flavors come through like a bass blasting through a speaker. The meats have the perfect mix of grease and juice; squeeze that lime on it and your taste buds are in heaven! Third, they package them nicely where it's structured and neat when you unwrap. Some places have grease and condiments flying everywhere upon opening so I'm glad I didn't have to brace myself for the flying projections.Couldn't have been more satisfied with this as I loaded the tacos with the onions/cilantro/spicy radish provided not to mention the spicy green salsa also provided. These are the types of tacos that represent Texas, specifically Houston: nice color tortilla, plenty of meat, some onion/cilantro, squeeze lime, and some of that spice sauce. Bueno!!!

Great customer service, the meat is very flavorful and it's pretty cheap! I got 4 tacos with a Mexican coke for less than $10. The tacos are small but filled with meat. 10/10 recommend!

Tried for the first time today. I had 3 fajita tacos. The food was great. The tacos were the typical mini street tacos and were 3 for $5 but full of meat. I will be back again to try other items, specifically the machete.

I come here at least 1-2x/wk for my cheat day! In Cali we take our tacos and green sauce very seriously and La Super Hueva touch home. I've tried almost everything on the menu even the burger. At first I was kind of skeptical about trying a burger with a pineapple on it (too much going on) but when I tried their burger I wanted to call them to tell them how GREAT it was! Cool little spot, thanks guys!

As one of the more popular taco trucks in Westchase, La Super Hueva has amassed the kind of late night following that most local area taquerias would dream of having. A big key to their success has been staying open late every day of the week, till as late as 4AM on the weekends. They pride themselves on being among the best tacos in Houston (#1) and love to showcase their chilango pride.To find them, just look for the blue truck in the Route 66 gas station parking lot along Westheimer. It's easy to miss for first timers, especially since they're not the only taqueria on wheels in the vicinity. Usually there are folks huddled around the truck during lunch time but the crowd tends to dwindle after 11pm. The waits are minimal and the staff is bilingual and friendly.While the $1.50 tacos sound like a deal, they're actually the smaller, two bite taquito (#2) versions instead. I don't mind them, even though they can be had for a $1 just further down the road. Of course they serve more than just tacos, there are sincronizadas, gorditas, burritos, quesadillas, and even hamburgers. Their claim to fame are their tortas, but it should be noted that they also sell machetes as well.The fajita meat is tasty. They've got one of the better variations that I've had along this stretch in west Houston and I would say the same for their campechano. Chicharron is also solid, as is their tripe. Their chicken and barbacoa is decent, but a slight departure from the rest of their meat lineup. I am fairly certain it's cash only. There is no outdoor seating and most everyone is doing takeout. My husband and I will not be back. We will stick with our food truck, we wanted to try something new.

This was the best idea of the day. The food was hot fresh & tasty asf. We all ordered 2 things and everybody loved what they got. But we all agreed the tacos were the favorite! It smelled so good we couldn't resist getting a bite before we left the parking lot but somehow that turned into eating a whole 2 tacos and a quarter of my burrito. The meat was so good And they're open till 4 amI will definitely be back

The customer service was wonderful! There was a line when we got there but they tended to everyone nicely. Very friendly and they were bilingual.
