The restaurant is large and bright and the hostess and server were very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their jobs.I had a delicious plate of sizzling shrimp and steak fajitas.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE! We arrive and our waiter is more nonverbal than actually verbal. We ask for a guacamole & they brought us what looked like a gooey green substance. We tried it and it tasted worse than any expired store bought container guac. We asked the waiter if we were able to swap it with some queso and we didn't like the guac (keep in mind the guac is still 95% intact as when they brought it to us). Once again he says nothing and just takes it and I see him speak with a person at the bar about it, and they start shaking they're heads and obviously looking upset and made a hand motion that I had already picked at it (even though it was just one chip). They ended up bringing me the queso dip. Now to the food we ordered which were the basic ACPs. The food tasted nothing authentic to Mexican food. The vegetables out tasted the meat and rice. We decided to just eat it and try to finish quickly to get out of there. Now with the atmosphere; the lighting was like you were in a store with all the bright lighting and music was some sort of old English music to start off with. All the other waiters also just didn't have the welcoming vibe with any of the other tables nearby that I was able to see. Oh yeah, then they charge my half sweet tea and half lemonade drink as an agua fresca, which if you know, you know the aguas frescas are about double the price of a regular fountain drink or tea. After I brought it to the waiters attention he replied with "it would've been about the same price anyways" and didn't change it. Worst experience, service, & food I've ever had for a Mexican restaurant ... or any restaurant.

I ordered the enchiladas and the rich dark sauce is so flavorful. The enchilada plate was served with black beans and 3 different fillings (cheese, beef, chicken). The salsa is very boring, tomato's were chunky and missing cilantro.The margarita was decent. Large and shaken well but I did not like how it finished sweet. Service was friendly and very engaging. One of the best service experiences we have experienced.

3/10/23-My best friend came through to visit family and friends and we made plans to have dinner. After going through ideas we decided on this restaurant. The parking lot was super packed but i believe it's because they share a parking lot with a couple other places. We had reservations so we were seated rather quickly. Our server was very friendly, attentive and on point with everything. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us often. We had a party of 6 so we all ordered different items and there were no complaints on how good the food was. My son wanted to come back the next day lol. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because parking was not the best and it was cold inside the restaurant, which could be where we were seated. Overall the food was good and service was great.

The food to me lacks the Mexican Food quality. It's tooo American.. and not the best. The chips are decent... the margarita that I've gotten tasted like it's straight from a mix.. nothing special. The rice was sort of the best part of the meal... if that. Nice service though.

I ordered delivery recently and I was very happy. They deliver Humongous portions, delicious Mexican cuisine and the best salsa and pico de Gallo. Since relocating to Raleigh the mexican food has been very well prepared and true to authenticity. The carnitas was very good and the tortillas chips and salsa were perfecto !The food was well worth every penny and flavorful. Best salsa & tortilla chips. Hands down.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and great service. We ate our food too quickly to take pics. Chips and salsa at first were warm and fresh. Salsa tasted good. Then we had the lime ceviche. It was delicious and plentiful. Great appetizer. Lastly my meal was shrimp and chorizo tacos with chicken soup side. You might say chicken soup? Well it was amazing. I wound up eating the soup and bringing the tacos home because I was too full. Drinks were also yummy. Def return.

I've gone back and am still impressed. They updated the menu look since last time and continuing to update the decor. Its quite a nice trendy/cultural atmosphere. Tonight we had carnitas enchilada and the el regio burrito. Both dishes had unique flavors you can't get at just any Mexican restaurant. The carnitas enchilada was covered in green sauce and had a hint of sweet with crunchy grilled onions, possibly some cinnamon in there. The El Regio burrito came with steak on top and a skewered onion and pepper. Both delicious. Happy bellies, happy customers

We used to eat here a lot. Never again. I placed an online carry out order and then immediately received a notification that the Six Forks restaurant, my home and the route between was under a tornado WARNING, which means to take shelter immediately. I immediately called the restaurant and told them to postpone the order for 30 minutes. They said they had already bagged the order, which was impossible, since they had no time to complete the order. I told them we would not be coming until the warning was over. They said we should come anyway and then hung up on me. When we went to get the order, it was the original order that had been sitting for 30 minutes and was soggy and cold. I called to speak to the manager and got hung up on again. I finally spoke to him and he said he would refund our money, but he didn't. He lied and the entire customer service experience was so bad we will have to find a new Mexican restaurant. Terrible service and lying staff.
