The restaurant is very visually appealing as one walks in - the dining room Is decorated in a nautical theme with pictures of sea animals in each viewing direction. Simply beautiful. For appetizers we ordered the fresh guacamole and fried octopus, calamari and shrimp. Prepared perfectly and quite delicious. For dinner, we ordered Texas fajita, garlic octopus, and a chimichanga. All were quite tasty. The reason for 4 stars is our entrees were served minutes after ordering and we were not done with eating the appetizers. While we appreciate prompt service this felt too rushed - even for New Yorkers! If you go you'll enjoy the food and ambiance - just tell your server to slow down and not rush your dining experience.

Ambiance is bright and inviting. Food is good and portion sizes compensatefor pricing. Service was wonderful. The menu has unlimited options to choose from. Tons of variety. Indoor and outdoor seating options.Drinks ordered: Skinny & Jalapeño Margaritas The Skinny was fresh and tasty less calorie option, always a plus! The first Jalapeño drink wasn't spicy enough but our waitress didn't hesitate to remake it and did a perfect jobOrdered Chorizo Queso for appetizer to complement the chips and salsa provided once seated. Decent portion and packed with sausage.Entrees ordered were Texas Fajita and Chicken/Steak mix Fajita topped w/ Oaxaca cheese. Both were delicious and seasoned well.

Our time at La Perla was okay! La Perla was formerly El Burrito and the menu has expanded. They still have a standard Mexican style menu with several newer additions outside of what you would find from a standard chain Mexican restaurant. You can't go wrong with their quesadillas or ACP. Our server did take about 25+ minutes to come take our drink order and serve us, I had to check with the host to see who or where she was. Despite us waiting on her for so long she brought our checks before we were finished with our meal and drinks. This made us feel a bit rushed even after waiting to be served, because we had intended to order another drink.

Walked in and there was a wait of 30 minutes. We ended up waiting only 10 minutes which was great. The waitress was good at initially ordering the food. However one of the dishes was incorrect, they did fix it. After the first 2 dishes came out our waitress disappeared and the rest of the food was incomplete. Missing two sides , an extra plate for the molcajete. No tortillas and no refill of drinks for a while no on came to check us. When most of us were done eating she then came back and I told her I was very disappointed with the service however the food was good. She apologized and explained she had a big party not pay their food so she was dealing with that. Long story short she could have had someone else check on her tables. When I gave her my card to pay she went ahead and charged 18% tip without asking. There was also a charge for a side of guacamole that we never received. Overall bad service, worst part they charged the tip for a party of 4. Food was good though. Never coming back, this was a going away dinner for my kid that is deploying. Our dinner was ruined with this bad service.

They never miss!!! I've come here more than 5 times and they have been excellent every time! The staff is great and attentive. They have both indoor and converted outdoor seating. Huge portion sizes and the flavor is top notch. The fanciest Mexican restaurant in Fayetteville. They used to be el burrito and the rebrand had served them well. Highly recommend!

LISTEN HERE!!!! All caps because I'm yelling! This food is delicious. I've been in Fayetteville off and on since 2015. This is hands down the best meal I've had. Antonella's delicious. Drop by the River was a fave. But La Perla!!!!! Whew chile! Phenomenal! Superb! Starting off with my server...maybe Christina? I sat at the bar and got a casamigos house margarita with light sour mix. Perfecto! The queso with chorizo!!!! I need emojis. So good! I ordered the Red Snapper Pacifico. Man! Chef's kiss. I wanted to ask the chef was his momma in the restaurant because I was gonna slap her!!!!! And the rice was soooooooo delicious. The salad had cucumbers and red onions which is not the norm at a Mexican spot. This was definitely elevated Mexican cuisine. Great job!!!! Run to this spot!

What an incredible find. Laying over on a trip up 95 and stumbled on this gem. Not sure where to start to describe a legit 5-star experience. The TLDR is that we jotted down the info so that next time we pass through, we'll go out of our way to come back... yeah that good! The location is nice and inside it's got a fun atmosphere. Clean environment and friendly staff that gave us friendly and fast service. The food is incredible. We got the everything ceviche with the habanero. Super fresh with great flavors. Definitely some heat, especially when you get a bit of pepper, but that's something that I liked about it. The portion was generous. We also got the grilled octopus which was off the hook. A nice big piece of octopus that was perfectly cooked and seasoned on top of some of the best rice I've ever had.Great drinks. We got the skinny margarita and sangria. Yum. For dessert the Churros... dang they were good. Never had churros like that. Two good sized entre's packed with seafood, a few drinks and desert. We left almost more than comfortably full and feeling good. To top it off we landed at a little under $125 including tip ( they do auto-add gratuity of 18%)... now that aint cheap, but it seems like this is the only place in the past year or two that I walked out happy with the quality, quantity, and price. What a refreshing experience that raised the bar for other restaurants and made me feel like they valued our patronage.

Service was great! Food was so bland. I got the ribeye which came with potatoes and broccoli. There wasn't any seasoning anywhere! Not even the basic salt and pepper. I got a huge drink that was 40 bucks and came in huge glass. The drink was so watered down and didn't even get tipsy! My whole table had this experience. For the prices, you expect better. But again, the service was great!

After reading the reviews, I was expecting to savor delicious flavors and in a Nayarit-themed environment; unfortunately, that was not the case.It was as though we were eating by in a dated aquarium, seated on hard metal chairs.Nothing special to report about the food except the seafood was over cooked, which was disappointing.
