La Michoacana Artesanal Ice Cream

This place is a hidden gem. Ice cream is on point, it is home made, only have had two flavors and will come back to try more!

I decided to try this place out based on some of the pictures I saw on Yelp. I ordered a few popsicles and a shake to give a few things a try.I would say that you will probably have a better experience if you're a Spanish speaker. I can usually get by at taco trucks, but when it comes to dessert - there are quite a few words outside of my experience. I tried to speak with the employee about the popsicles. She didn't understand me and I didn't fully understand her. When I asked her about certain popsicles, she said she didn't know. My questions were around flavors.So I pointed and picked out a few.This place would do much better with a printed menu with pictures of the various popsicles. They have pictures for other items. When I went to pay, I was charged a price for the popsicles - plus add-ons for coconut and chocolate, but I didn't add anything to my popsicles. When all was said and done, I paid a little over $17 for two popsicles and a shake. The desserts were good. A picture-based popsicle menu would make it much easier. I want to go back and try more stuff.

Met the sweet owner who makes everything themselves. I had the açaí bowl and it was truly delicious. They even have popsicles.

Delicioso! This Mexican popsicle store is a hidden gem. It taste just like in Mexico, best tasting ice cream and popsicles in Houston by far. The variety of flavors is outstanding, from traditional fruit blends to unique creations. The ice cream is bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A must-visit for anyone craving a cool and refreshing treat with a Mexican twist.

First time going here / We love it! ! We got a biscotti ice cream, with a waffle cone and a dragon fruit bowl. Both were very delicious, they were the perfect amount of sweet to them, not cloying or overpowering. They leave you satisfied as well! Service was excellent. The girl that rang us up suggested the more popular flavours, which we will try next time we go! The place was brightly lit, with fitting music playing in the background that added to the ambience.All in all it we were impressed, I love a place that makes home made ice cream. Los sabores estaban muy buenos y no eran tan dulces, ¡y eso me gusta! Lo mejor es que todo está hecho en casa, ya que no hay lugares que hagan su propia nieve, y me gusta que este lugar sí lo haga. ¡Vamos a regresar para probar los otros sabores!

I wanted a tamarindo raspa with tamarindo pulpa like they have on their picture. They do not have pulpa, they have the natural flavor of tamarindo which was good. Thought it was a bit over priced for a large raspa it was 5.95 plus tax.

I found this place by accident, I didn't even realize it was an ice cream place until I was about to walk in (was eating at the pho place just in front) anyway, the lady recommended me this yogurt with fruit paleta and im so glad she did. Really good!! I was going to get a cajeta one but maybe next time.
