Let me start out by saying that the 3 stars has absolutely nothing to do with service. Amazing friendly service.However, the food was just not good. We ordered the chicken fajitas for 2. So dry and rubbery that is was hard to swallow. One abit more positive note... the margaritas are pretty awesome and pretty fuerte too! Unfortunately, I personally wouldn't be back.

This place is definitely a must try! We came here for a late quick lunch on Sunday since we just moved to the area. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and sat. The complimentary chips and salsa -- omg the green sauce! Not spicy at all but so good! Must must try, we had 2 more! My husband and I shared the sampler as a meal since I wasn't that hungry. The taquitos were delicious! The chicken was not dry in it! Will definitely be coming back!

Having been to La Maria about six times since moving to the area, I still like the food. Good Tex Mex is very difficult to find in Cypress. But the service is sort of aloof, the servers/greeters rarely smile, and they don't make a point to get to know your name and welcome you each time. They're very low energy staff.

I went during lunch and they weren't busy. I was greeted as I walked in. I ordered the Cheese Enchiladas with 2 Serrano peppers.Came out really fast and was really good. Good amount of Cheese and Enchilada sauce. Frij9les pretty good and rice was moist too. They checked on us regularly too. Def recommend. Sorry no pics
