Amazing service! Perfect for a dinner spot before you go bar hopping. Came here for a dinner with some friends and we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. For the table, we got the queso fundido, which was good and cheesy. It came with 5 small tortilllas, and we added mushrooms and peppers to it. Wish it were bigger for the price. The cochinita tacos were very juicy and delicious. I like the sauce that came with it because it had a kick to it. Service was reasonably quick too. I like their social media campaign where if you tag them on Instagram with food/drinks, you'll get a free margarita! The guava margarita with tajin on the rim was up my alley. We will be back here for drinks!

While searching for "happy hour" places to try I stumbled across this place! They have a great selection of food and drinks for under $7! The sangria may have been thes best I've tasted yet! Ive only been twice and both times I've sat at the bar. The bartenders are so nice! Most happy hours end at 6pm but this place serves until 7pm! They have a lot of outside seating for nice weather, it's a nice little gem you should try!

Came here twice on random week days for happy hour. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's very casual and the only noise is really patrons talking, at least when you sit outside.My friend didn't have a good experience with the host the first time around, he was rude and standoffish - but as the server, he was nice later on - yes, it was the same person. Second time, all staff were nice/welcoming.The food was great both times, minus the elote/corn - it wasn't well made or seasoned and the corn wasn't sweet. The margaritas were great both times as well, we got different flavours on the rocks. Their happy hour is from 3-6pm, fyi.

This place is a must! Everything about it was perfect. My boyfriend took me here for a date night, knowing I have high standards for my Mexican food. It did not disappoint. ALL the drinks were so yummy. We got a few different margs and they got better and better. Their mezcal tequila was so tasty. The service was great. I got the Birria tacos and my boyfriend got the asada burrito and both were cooked to perfection. We got the chocolate tres leches for dessert and it was so yummy. The music was so fun but not over powering. I will be back and I recommend it to anyone.

I have been going here since they opened. I really do love the food, drinks, and the fun interior. The service however always leaves something to be desired. The people are friendly but absent. I often have to wait to even be asked if I want a drink let alone food to start. I am not sure if it is a problem with not enough staff or inexperienced staff. Overall, the staff needs to be more attentive to customers. The music choices are completely fine but please, please turn it down. I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. I went with 4 bc there really is so much potential here. Bottom line, increase attentiveness and decrease the music volume and we got a phenomenal restaurant!

Always love some good Italian food. Service was good. Please looks smaller from the outside and looks like a dive bar when you walk in, but when you go in, it's beautiful. Actually left my wallet here and the staff was kind enough to know it was for me and hold it for me.

A great place to eat! You can taste the authenticity in the cooking! The tortillas taste like they're made at home, the meat is well cooked and seasoned.. I had the idea of adding birria to my quesadilla to create a quesabirria quesadilla and asked for consomé broth on the side to dip, I 100% recommended this!The marg was good, lightly strong but it was a Margarita.The churros weren't the best but they weren't terrible, it was something missing in the prep. I think had they'd been a little softer to the bite they'd have been great.

Amazing food, great service, cute bar and ambiance and MEZCAL FLIGHTS. They are located diagonally from Melrose and give a true authentic Mexican food taste. They even add cactus to the tacos and they are delicious. The initial draw was the mezcal flights, the food is the extra bonus. Clean open space with a cute bar and the most friendly staff. Helpful, patient, attentive and personable. The shrimp risotto was amazing!! Creamy but not wet, the grilled corn hit it out of the park! Flavor on point and something I would order again. The churros were so yummy! Crisp and crunchy with the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. We got sauce on side and it made it perfect for dipping. I already said those asada tacos were great with the bits of cactus in it. I'll say it again--- delicious! Full of flavor, no fat meat and absolutely will I return.
