We started off our trip to Miami by visiting Bayside Marketplace to start the Hop on Hop off tour. But, after a long travel to Miami, we were starving and found this bakery in a brochure with pictures of these delicious pancakes. We just couldn't resist! It was difficult to find the restaurant, but we eventually did with the help of locals. After studying the menu for quite some time (so many good options!), we opted to go with an omelette and pancakes. The photos we had seen just did not do justice to the huge portions. We ate as much as we could, left with a stomach ache, and still could not manage to eat the whole meal. We felt bad as we were not able to take this with us given our plans to explore the city.Although it was delicious, the food is quite pricey. The pancakes, for example, cost roughly $30. Additionally, although I should have known better, all tables came with bottled water (that you have to pay for). After being seated, I by instinct grabbed the water and began drinking. It was so hot and I knew I needed to stay hydrated. And then it was added to the bill. Not a big deal, but just an FYI!

I recently visited La Industria, and let me just say, this place is definitely a brunch lover's paradise! I stopped by after hearing so much buzz about their unique menu and massive portions, and it did not disappoint.First off, I have to talk about their Tiramisu Pancakes. The pancakes were huge, fluffy, and had the perfect balance of sweetness. You can taste the mascarpone cream and cocoa powder in every bite--it's like eating dessert for breakfast but not in an overpowering way. They were pretty good. Next, I tried the Arepas with beef and cheese. They arrived piping hot and were filled to the brim with juicy, flavorful beef and melty cheese. The arepas were simply delicious--no complaints here!I also ordered the mofongo with steak, and while it was good, it wasn't quite my type. The steak was well-cooked but could have used a touch more salt to bring out the flavors. The mofongo itself was decent, though a bit dense for my taste. What's great is that they were super accommodating and made the mofongo without pork or pork broth, since we really wanted to try it but avoid pork. If you're a fan of this traditional dish, you might enjoy it more than I did.As for drinks, I couldn't resist getting the Ferrero Rocher latte--I mean, come on, who could? While it was intriguing, I found it wasn't as sweet or rich as I expected, especially considering the name. I'm a big fan of sweet lattes, and this one leaned more towards a subtle sweetness. The seating outside was nice, and even though it was busy, the vibe inside was lively and the staff were super friendly and efficient. Our server made some great recommendations and checked on us regularly. Prices are pretty fair for the huge portions you get, so you definitely won't leave hungry.

Avoid Bayside places to eat but this is an exception. Restaurant, service, quality and atmosphere is great.

The food here is good and pretty large portions. I got the iced caramel latte, and it was delicious. I am giving it only 4 stars because it was too expensive and, for some reason, everything was served in plastic. It was plastic containers, plastic cups, and plastic utensils. The plastic knife made it really hard to cut the avocado toast, which was frustrating. Also everything is outside, and if you are unlucky like we were, the fan they have outside is not pointed in your direction and it's very hot. Service was slow as well which was not good considering how hot it was where we were. Overall, the food is good and it's an easy place to go if you're shopping at Bayside Marketplace, just make sure you're in the range of the fan!

It was a nice cute little place. The staff were very nice. We had all appetizers and didn't have any complaints about it. I order the tostones which came with a mix of pork, ham, chicken, and coleslaw. They do not skimp on the meat. The tostones were thin and crispy and meat was flavorful. I would have preferred more sauce on the side but over all great dish. The one thing I would change is to have a printed menu. They have a QR code you scan with your phone to view menu which is fine but at this particular time my battery was low and I needed to reverse what I had to order a ride back home. It took some time for them to find a tablet for us to view the menu.

If it were possible to give 0 stars I would. Service was terrible as was food. Prices were outrageous for the poor quality. A major disappointment.

First time here on a very hot 90-degree summer day. Our wait time was 1 hour standing outdoors!! We were sweating by the time we got to our table. This is Nicky Jam's restaurant, who is a famous regaettton artist. It is an all-day brunch place at the Bayside Marketplace.Inside is very Instagramable for photos. We had the La Boricua Hamburger and Chicken n Waffles for our main courses . They were amazingly delicious!! For our dessert, we split the Barbie Pancake, which was out of this world yummy! We were carbed out by then, as you can imagine. We will definitely return again, but on a cooler day. Parking is not easy, but you can find a place. This area is a must for tourists because of all the sights and shopping and activities. It is always busy and popular.

This place is always PACKED. its in the very congested/touristy area of bayside. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time: they will not seat you until your entire party is here.Albeit the restaurant was very busy, our service was quick and friendly. Special points given for their great halloween decor. To drink:We had an iced pumpkin latte. it was honestly one of the best lattes ive had (if you like sweet coffee). It came with a nice dulce de leche rim.My friend also had the strawberry lemonade and liked it.For an app we had the croquettes. They were filled with fish, and the dipping sauce was very yummy. The boriqua burger was HUGE and on a brioche bun. It was served with fries. this can easily be split between two people. We also HAD to try the spooky stack of pancakes. They were pumpkin pancakes with frosting and icing and alot of halloween decor. Super cute but was soooo sweet.Would probably not return, once was enough, but a great spooky experience was had.

We started with the Arepitas sampler. The arepas were a little sweet, which paired well with the savory beef, cheese, and ham. Entrees included the Dripping burger (unique presentation, very tasty) and the Chorizeo (tons of chorizo links, aioli sauce was delicious, sweet plantains balanced all the chorizo). The side of French fries was really good (crunchy exterior, soft interior). Like other reviews, after being seated, we waited too long to be addressed. At one point, we stopped someone and asked if they could take our order. Beautiful decor, large portions, but subpar service. They were also out of soap in the bathroom(one unisex), which was inappropriate given a female employee walked out prior.

I think it's outrageous that I get charged $5 for a canned sprite and $20 for fries with a movie theater nacho sauce. I expected way more. I assume it's still open because it's in a touristic area. Disappointed and expected better.
