La Fresca Pizza

Always happy with their food and service! These days that's not so common. They always get the order right, deliver on time, and the food's always good. Will definitely continue to be a loyal customer!

Ice passed by this place for a while and finally ordered. Got a Hawaiian Calzone. I'm jot necessarily happy with it and here's why:The "Canadian bacon" is sandwich meat. It taste like sandwich meat and not actual Canadian bacon, not to mention that it's cut really thin.The crust tastes fine and so does the sauce and cheese. It came with a little cup of sauce too and for $8 it's s good size. I may give them another try and get just a basic pepperoni or something, but they're not nailing it with this calzone

I would have posted the food but it was so good I ate it before I got the picture . But baby let me tell y'all , run don't walk ! This is a hidden gem !

I've been making my rounds of Houston pizzerias and La Fresca is one of the few where I've sampled a multiple times. It is exactly the kind of pizza I'm used to in H-Town, which is neither excellent or inadequate, but strictly somewhere in the middle.They are strictly a takeout / delivery joint. There is close to no seating, save for a small outdoor two seater and very limited parking. Since it's on the busy stretch along Kirby next to Holcombe, there's almost no foot traffic but cars for days. (#1) I'll start with some immediate positives: they're a family owned establishment and the prices are some of the best I've seen in the area. I would almost think the pandemic inflation hasn't hit them yet, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that they stay this reasonable. Pizzas are usually done fairly quickly and the service is always commendable.The actual pizza itself is okay but like many pizzerias, the pies are put in a broiler, almost like a toasted sub resulting in a hardened cheese on top. I find the sauce to be a pseudo salt bomb of sorts with a crust that is thicker than what I am accustomed to. The other thing is that their largest pizza is only up to 14 inches. (#2) I'm happy they have some variety and customizable options. I'd highly recommend staying away from their pasta dishes, unless desperate.Between this and their other locations in the Meyerland, I'm going to assume this is the better of the two. They aren't open late and the delivery radius is limited to the surrounding West U area.____________(#1) Which is the story of modern Houston.(#2) Which might also explain the pricing.

I don't leave reviews & I am not one to exaggerate but this place is so good 10/10 not greasy & it doesn't make you feel like you can't breathe after eating it.

Excellent pizza and service! Had for the first time last evening; will definitely be back!

Staying at a nearby hotel and ordered delivery. Pizza and cheese bread were excellent. Prices were great. Only paid $30 for pizza, cheese bread, delivery and tip. Definitely would recommend!

The crust and the sauce on their pizza is the closest to a New York style pizza that I can findin Houston. Ok great, now I want pizza!

I can't believe anybody will deliver a pizza anymore that isn't outside of DoorDash etc., but for less than $20 I got a medium supreme which was delightful customizable and I added a five dollar tip and I'm pretty sure it was here less than an hour. The delivery charge was very very reasonable. Nicely done! -traveler in hotel.

This pepperoni pizza was by far one of the BEST pizzas I've ever had. The pepperonis tasted magnificent...mmmm muah
