Restaurants like these are one of the reasons I moved to the location I'm in. Don't be fooled by the exterior of the location. It's low key, low cost, amazing food and friendly service.Most people get the tacos here. They also have amazing breakfast and traditional Tex-mex including quesadillas, burritos, sopes, and enchiladas. It's as authentic as it gets with their ingredients and flavors coming from their kitchen. Tacos are always a hit; love the barbacoa and lengua. And the migas breakfast is a large portion with that nice crunch from the tortillas mixed with the eggs. Absolutely delish!Very close to where I live and I can't wait to return to try their other stuff. But knowing me, I'll probably cave and get those tacos again!

I tried this place today based on the photos of the flour tortillas. It is hard to find good ones. I got 3 different breakfast tacos and they were delicious. The ladies there were very friendly and sweet. I will definitely return to pick up dinner for my family.

La Fondita is a perfect little unassuming Mexican restaurant in a small strip mall serving up fresh, authentic food. I got the beef fajita gorditas plate and that beef fajita was SUPERB. Like some of the best beef fajita I've had! The plate is $12 and comes with two nice-sized gorditas, fixings, and rice and beans. I am a Mexican rice fanatic and wasn't too impressed with their rice by itself. It tastes like it was cooked in chicken broth but not seasoned much other than that. I ended up mixing the rice in with the refried beans and putting some green and red salsa in it and it was very yummy! The green salsa was great, as was the red, just beware because the red salsa is intensely hot!

This place is legit. It's a hole in the wall but the food is amazing. Everything was great but the beef fajita tacos were the best. The service was very friendly as well. Plenty of parking. It was hard to find because the strip center is under construction so there is no sign up. I will definitely come back to try the breakfast.

I had a beef quesadilla and two tacos Al pastor. The beef was a little tough. So typical with taquerias in that they tend to cook their meats to death. The flour tortilla was awesome. The cheese was amazing and overall, I enjoyed the quesadilla. Red salsa was great.The Al pastor was tender but lacked flavor on its own. I added a little salt and green sauce. The corn tortillas are delicious. With the salt, onions, cilantro and green sauce, the tacos tasted great!.I'll definitely be back.

Ambiance is casual and nice, the service is good, friendly staff but the food is 1/5 stars. Large clean space.They provide barely enough chips in the basket with a small bowl of sauce.It's not hot and is plain Jane if you like tomatoes. I don't know who they are catering to but, it's not Hispanic hot sauce. The pineapple drink was fresh and tasty. We ordered green chicken enchiladas and a Gordita with beef fajita and a tinga chicken taco.The enchiladas were not even rolled. They were like tacos folded over very little meat and lots of lettuce on top so you couldn't even see them.I personally did not care for the food.The Gordita was so thin, not good flavor to their food. I would not recommend this place but this is just my opinion. Just giving them a chance but not coming back here.
