La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant

Went to this place yesterday after leaving an award show ... it was literally 3 buildings away from the hotel where my event was. It was my brothers 51st birthday and I just accepted the Founders Award from the gospel choice music awards. Needless to say we were STARVING lol This place had a queso con chorizo that was AMAZING!!! The frozen margaritas were PERFECT (our entire table ordered them) I had the burrito with chicken and chorizo, my brother had the Californian burrito, my wife & manager both had the shrimp fajitas and my brothers girlfriend had a chimichanga It was my first time going there but I'll be back - especially since it's right next to Atlantas Hartsfield airport!!' Authentic Mexican!!!

Fresh chips, overly mild salsa (if you ask for the spicy salsa, they bring out a fantastic salsa verse and salsa rojo).Don Chilos (carnitas burrito) is amazing! Carnitas a little crispy, but the same salsa rojo from above smothers this burrito with cheese melted on top. The rice, again a little bland. I mixed a cup of the salsa rojo into it and it is amazing as well.Great service, expected ambiance, and fantastic food at extremely reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Wow!!!! Where can I start?! I can't say enough great things about the food, service & atmosphere. My experience even after my meal ended was superb. I came here solo for a 1 day trip and was given a booth seat immediately upon entering (which is my favorite). I ordered 2 carne asada tacos with a side of mushrooms and a side of rice. WOW!! The tacos were some of the best freshest tacos I've had in a very long time. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection & the rice was delicious. The presentation was amazing as well.I ended up leaving my retainer that I just got from my dentist and called them right at close. They not only let me search for the retainer but helped me find it for almost 1 hour!!! I am immensely grateful for Leo & the entire staff that worked on Tuesday 11/7/23.Amazing people, incredible food, lovely atmosphere. Thank you sooo much :)

Haven't been in a while but nothing has changed. Still has great service. Still the best margarita in town!

Chips were stale, salsa was served chilled. Sadly, we were not impressed by either of our orders(burrito, and enchiladas). The search for decent Mexican food in Atlanta, continues.

Ignore the petty low Star reviews. We had a great meal. Walkable from multiple hotels in College Park and East Point. Get your margarita Texas style!

The food was so delicious! Baja fish tacos, fresh, grilled veggies, and the outdoor patio is very nice, so the ambience was great as well. I wish I didn't live so far away from this restaurant, otherwise I would definitely be coming back soon.

Having a one night stay over we needed a quick local place and this place rocked! Quick service and such polite staff and servers who took great care and checked on us frequently. Inside was a tad louder than I would have liked but we were seated under a speaker playing music. We had chicken and steak fajitas with beans and rice and were NOT disappointed! Hot and tender pieces with plenty of peppers and onions. Beans, rice and sides plus great chips and salsa made us so full!

This is my second time visiting the restaurant. My rating is ABOUT the same as my last. The meal was as expected. It was superb. The heat on the green chili sauce...it was hotter than I remember. I needed to ask for a second glass of water. The service was 5 star as expected. The only thing that caught my attention was the margarita. My last visit, when the drink was served, there was a vial of tequila in the glass for you to pour yourself. I thought this was a unique touch. I allowed you to see the pour. It was omitted this time, and I missed it. Otherwise, please enjoy. It is still worth the money.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. Great atmosphere and beautiful decor with wonderful staff. I was greeted with a smile and immediately seated with a menu, home made tortilla chips and salsa. My drink arrived in seconds and was never less than half full. I ordered the carne asada, and it came to my table sizzling on a skillet in less than 15 minutes. Served with the best rice and beans I've had in years, and it was more than I could finish. This dinner made up for the delayed flights and hassles of the day. I will come back here every time I am on the area!
