First time there and I fell in love everyone was perfect. Amazing food amazing service made me feel at home love it!!!

Always a pleasure to visit my local market in the neighborhood. Has what I need especially my prayer candles and veggies. Love it here.

5/5 La Familia Meat Market is a true neighborhood gem. They have been serving 7 days a week 365 days a year for 20+ years!!The store instantly reminds one of any of the countless neighborhood anchors in any community in any city in Mexico. The counter is by the entrance. Fresh fruit and vegetables are in one cooler. "American" sodas are in the fridge closest to the butcher counter. The tacos are prepared in a kitchen at the opposite corner by very dedicated (one woman told me she had worked there for over 16 years) employees who whip up some of the best 100% authentic Mexican food around Greater Houston!The tacos are first rate. The offerings vary daily. There's something for everybody; unless (!) one is vegan. ***If one is vegan this family run MEAT MARKET probably isn't for you. LOL***

I work nearby and grab tacos here regular. They always have a good selection, the price is fair, they stack em high, and they are delicious. The owner is a top notch dude as well.

Great location specially for me. Barbacoa 7 days a week! Super good There's always something good in the menu. You will find all the essentials needed with good service. The owners are there always and will answer any questions specially if you're.... well.. if you aren't Hispanic lol ask for help it's okay! . Chill ambiance mom and pop style

Tamale lovers.... they have tamales every day! And they're only $13.99 a dozen ... and they are thicc AF tamales. Like, mouth dropped when the server stacked up one dozen; it looked like two or three dozen. My mom calls these type of large tamales - spilling out it's stuffings - "tamales borrachos."Note: Call ahead to make sure they haven't sold out for the day. On the day I went in for a few dozen, chicken tamales and pork were available. The masa was great and overall they tasted homemade. Five stars for the tamales, so I highly rec. As for the groceries and produce, they are pricier than larger chain stores, but it's all about the convenience here.#supportlocal

The tacos were absolutely amazing !! I also got the horchata which was 10/10. Everyone was very sweet. Great place!

Came here for the barbacoa on a Saturday. Pretty good, a little too fatty in my opinion. But decent enough

Fire fat ass tacos, I get them almost everyday. Get the Al pastor if they have it but kinda worried if more of people come here they'll raise the taco prices more
