La Cocina latina

These guys may have jumped to the top of my list of Triangle Latin food. We got an assortment of tacos and gorditas, with lengua, chorizo, and chicken tinga, and it was all first-rate. We saw them make everything fresh to order - *including the tortillas for the tacos*. Also my wife got a lime agua fresca that she loved.

Wow!!! Stopped here kind of by accident. Saw it had good reviews but as soon as we opened the door to the restaurant I was surprised to see just a couple folding tables and a few folding chairs. I almost left but I am so glad I didn't. The staff was super nice and the food, oh man, the food was amazing. They are grinding the corn by hand and making the tortillas in house. It doesn't get more authentic than this. Plan, simple, bare bones dining area with extraordinary flavorful authentic Mexican food. Simply Fantastic!!

These are the same folks who were running Eva & Gabi's Tacos inside of Food World. Great tacos and salsas. Had 3 tacos today. They were served piping hot. They were served with chopped onion and cilantro on the side, which I've not seen before. The carnitas was my favorite. So much flavor.
