La Casona

This is our favorite Tex Mex food !! Great service, ALWAYS SUPER FRIENDLY, great authentic music and comfy booths and think the ambiance is top notch! You MUST TRY THIS RESTAURANT and please do yourself a favor and order their guacamole!! Delicious and made to order!! Ok....now I have made myself hungry for Tex Mex!!

Food was authentic, fresh with hefty portion sizes. Service was impeccable! Would certainly return.

We used to eat at La Casona at least twice a week for many years before they moved locations.I don't think the food is as good as it used to be so not giving it more than 3 stars. BUT their chicken soup which they used to serve complimentary with fajitas years ago, is what my family considers medicinal. We always get several orders to go when anyone is feeling under the weather. I even get orders to go when friends are sick. Something about it makes ya feel better. It's nothing really special. I imagine they're just tossing in the dark meat from the chicken after using the white for fajitas and other things. It has potatoes, carrots, chayote squash, onions, tomato, and a slightly spicy broth. They serve it with rice, chips, and salsa.So good!

Quality of food and service has definitely worsened and gone downhill since my last visit. Fajitas were dry and had no flavor. Beef enchiladas were greasy and also had no flavor. Beans and rice again also had no flavor. Even the chips and salsa seemed very lackluster. Better to just cook at home or go somewhere else for Tex-mex. Waiter also seemed annoyed to give refills on drinks. We will definitely not go back. It's much better to spend a little more $$$ at some better Mexican restaurants down the road.

Went for lunch with my mom. Loved the service and especially the good food I haven't been here in about a year. It was amazing and the margaritas were delicious as well the atmosphere was welcoming and all the servers are very nice! Must try ! The stuffed avacado had beef fajitas along with a cheesy beef taco so amazing and great portions!

The servers are generally great and not an issue, however they can forget you when you need more tea or salsa.The food is not bad, it's just bland. Some basic Mexican food recipe skills would kick this up another level. Garlic, chicken stock , cilantro , oregano, chili powder don't cost much at all and could really help the rice and beans for instance, same for more taco seasoning.This place is plenty big for large crowds with plenty of parking, but again, food is just average with no "wow factor".

If you order food to go, make sure that you receive everything that you ordered because when you call to complain, more than likely you will be told that you have to call on the same day. I ordered during the night(late) and the unprofessional manager indicated that a person has to call the same day.The customer service given by the manager was horrible!

We really need to improve the quality of the food. We went back after multiple times of being disappointed and figured the chef was having a bad day. Well the meal was outdated, blah and for the price I paid I won't be going back anytime soon. We need to improve on the service and improve.
