La Casita Mexican Restauraunt

I love this place!! The food is great! The waitresses are very friendly. It's just what a small town needs.

You know there's a problem when their "vegetarian" option lists chicken as one of the ingredients. Asked the server about it and she said she thought chicken was vegetarian. I told her to just bring me a burrito filled with all the veggies they have, and it was pretty good, if overpriced for what it was. Side order of refried beans was very skimpy. Hubby was not impressed with his cheese enchiladas either. Chips were pretty good, salsa was tasty. But don't think we'll be back.

This place is the place. For authentic Mexican food. Service is excellent, the place is clean and sanitary. The food was the best I've ever had outside of cooking myself.

Great food!!! Tried this place passing through Livingston and was pleasantly surprised how good La Casita was. Had their fajitas and queso and both were awesome. We will go back next time we're in town

This spot is legit! Rolled through while we headed back home in Northwest Louisiana and the service and food was EXCELLENTE!! Kind of an underground spot! The prices were unmatched as well! Those lunch specials for $5.95, and the portions they came in were perfect!

The food was mostly awful. I had the cheese chili relleno, it was flat, not fluffy, the oil was heavy and tasted old. Refried beans were unremarkable, Spanish rice was good. My wife had the shrimp enchiladas, shrimp are very small (almost salad sized) and nothing but shrimp inside the enchilada, not much thought put into this dish. Her vegetables, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower (weird combo at a Mexican restaurant) were dried out, they actually looked cracked and old and tasted worse. Salsa at the table was good and the service was good. Prices are very reasonable but the food we had was awful, actually the worst Mexican meal we have both had. So sad because the menu is very extensive and looked promising.

Of all the Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at, this is one of them. I'll admit, I didn't have many expectations coming into this place and they met them. If you're looking for rare flavors, the flavor is certainly rare here. The cooks use several ingredients and the dishes that came to our table were made from those ingredients. Both beers they serve contain alcohol. If you're in Livingston looking for Mexican food, this place serves food.

Consistent food! It's very good. We stop here a couple times a month. Very reasonable prices! We love the people here too!

Clean place. We'd have liked more vegetables, but nice overall.Currently the best Mexican restaurant in the town.

The food was great and arrived quickly. We ordered their special for the day Fajitas for two, our belly's were full and we had some to go. The salsa is really good not too spicy we even asked for some to go too. Customer service was great as well. If we ever go into that side of town will definitely visit again.
