WOW! What a gem in the heart of downtown Gibsonville. It is very clean outside and right across the street from the police station. Available street parking. This building has been renovated without losing the huge historic past. Huge heavy entry doors, comfy oversized booth seating, you are always welcomed upon entering the door Sit where you like and warm chips and homemade salsa are immediately brought to your table "YUMMY" Just saying that are amazing!! If anyone Yelpers wants to try them after eating half of mine, I remembered I needed a picture to share with y'all... Ok the lunch specials are numinous it is freshly prepared to your liking, and comes to the table HOT and ready-delicious every time! Excellent service is a lost art and they bring it professionally, with a smile. Thanks fellas for an amazing trip! Adios

I really wanted to adore this place, being right in the heart of my new hometown, Gibsonville. It was a quiet Friday night, and we took the booth nearest to the entrance since the restaurant was empty. The ambiance had that reminiscent feel of an old Irish bar, likely its previous incarnation given the unchanged decor. However, the booth seats felt worn out and saggy, lacking the comfort we expected. Whether due to a language barrier or their standard approach, we received menus without a greeting from the waiter. Despite this, the cozy atmosphere, coupled with the newly decorated Main Street for Christmas, set a pleasant mood.Husband and I tried different burritos and the kids opted for a taco and 'chicken tenders'; the dishes didn't quite impress. The burritos lacked flavor and excitement, while the so-called chicken tenders turned out to be Tyson chicken nuggets, slightly overdone. I am actually quite astounded that so many reviews love this place and content on paying restaurant prices for Tyson nuggets. Reminded me of something out of Kitchen Nightmares. Chef Ramsey where you at!? This place needs you!The drinks were decent but a tad expensive for what they offered.Although it's centrally located in my new town, I probably won't return here - not for a quick bite or even a drink.

Went in early with 1 other patron. Server didn't write down the order and got half the table incorrect. Had to ask multiple times for things we had previously ordered. Food was very bland with little to no seasoning. Queso dip was just straight cheese that was like warm/semi solid.

This place is a hidden gem in Gibsonville. We were helping my husband's brother move, when he first introduced us to this place. It is a classy and comfortable atmosphere. It's a great place for a family meal, quick lunch or the rare date night. I have tried many items and I would order them all again! Typically, when I go to a restaurant I already know what I will order before I arrive. It's not like that here. There are so many amazing options. The cheese dip and hot sauces are a must!Hands down, the best tacos around! Don't just think about trying this place out. Get up and go right now! You won't regret it!

Stopped in the other day for lunch and was quite surprised. First, the service couldn't be better. These people really know the meaning of customer service. As for the food, I am not a Mexican food expert, but I do know both my wife and I totally cleaned our plates. Food was delicious and moderately priced for the quantity and quality of food received.

Delicious food: I had the ACP chicken and my spouse had the fried chimichangas. Food was fresh, well presented.Service was good. The atmosphere was classy, quiet, and clean. Typical large Mexican restaurant selections. Prices were very reasonable. Overall, the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise for a village size town.

Absolutely delicious. This is officially my favorite Mexican restaurant and for a decent price near Burlington. We used to go to San Marcos, but it's seemed to go downhill getting cheaper and charging more. This place gave us a great mix of food for the price, not just a bunch of vegetables. This will definitely be my go to place for Mexican food.

Absolutely terrible service and food! It's a cute little restaurant but don't be fooled. My husband and I went here for a quick dinner and the chips were stale and sour! Our food came out cold and I did not get what I ordered. My husband got a taco salad and the shell was cold and everything tasted old. We ordered fried ice cream and cheesecake burrito and they both had chocolate syrup on it which tasted like it had been sitting out for years. The ice cream came in a cold stale shell and was not fried. Don't waste your money here. Go to Rio Bravo off Hicone road!
