Great breakfast. The menudo was just right in my opinion. I have been to a few spots and this is one of the top places. The service is great and friendly. The food came out quickly and had good portions, plus homemade tortillas. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. Safe travel. Prost.

I've been going here for years, best breakfast tacos in The Heights. I try to keep a carton of their red salsa in my fridge at all times. Sweet people, really great food. It's been open since the 70s!

Classic Tex-Mex, it's what you would expect from a family operated Tex-Mex cafe. I have driven by for Ges but, as most days they close at 3 PM, I have never visited today, I stopped in great service and the restaurant is immaculate.there is ample parking COVID precautions.The food The vegan choice is guacamole tostadas which were generously portioned and tasty the prices are reasonable. A good choice for Tex-Mex in the height's .

Love this place. Small, cozy with amazing food. Love there breakfast especially. Staff is friendly and love the tejano music they play on the weekends. Nice change of pace from the goofy music you hear in other places. Just wish they were open later during the week. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Let me start by saying that I like the decor inside, this place has the potential for being amazing but definitely let us down big time. Most definitely not a Mexican restaurant it's a weird mix between Texmex and American food. Ordered a quesadilla place and the summer plate and let me just say food was not my favorite. You can't just give people a tostada with nacho cheese and call it a meal, service was also not the best, we had just left a graduation so we decided give this place a a try and celebrate and we we're hit with the worst service ever. To begin with I understand when you're a party of 8 it's not the easiest to accommodate but we were not even approached, we were left to either push tables together or sit separately which we ended up doing, after sitting down we were given only 3 menus and after the server approached us and asked what we wanted to drink, since we were sharing menus we were kind of sharing with one another what they offered since I mean we couldn't all read at the same time she sighted pretty big and said I will come back and since y'all ain't ready to order, like really?? Not even after that we were offered more menus and we had to go ask for them ourselves. Let me add the place was pretty empty so besides other 2 tables we had the place pretty much to ourselves. Parking is also awful, we like to give places a second chance all the time because honestly we all have our bad days but honestly we were left pretty disappointed and like our businesses wasn't important.

3.5 but Yelp doesn't do half stars. Bestie surprised me with a delivery of 2 fajita tacos and rice plus chips and salsa. I was complaining about wanting lunch but not wanting to cook or pay $$ for delivery. The tacos were really good. Filled with nice tender beef fajita and lettuce and tomatoes. It was the perfect amount to fill up my belly. The rice was super plain so had to add salsa to make it more fancy. Their salsa is good too. Not spicy at all. The chips were nice and thin and crunchy.Overall I was satisfied. Its actually fairly close to me so there may be another order soon.(Side note, they really do a great job of packing it so the drivers can't get in the bag. The sticker said ecolab lol)

Pretty terrible. Me and my wife ordered online to be delivered. She had a rough day at work. Just hoping for some decent food. Nothing had any flavor. My Carnitas were just stale pork chops. My wife's dish was dry unflavored beef and the rice and beans were just slipped onto everything. The tamales were barely edible. We threw it out. Very disappointed.

It was my first time trying this restaurant after passing by it for years. I called in a to go order of a breakfast plate with chorizo & eggs plus I asked for cheese to be added. The plate included tortillas, beans, and potatoes. The beans were just not good. The chorizo was minimal and they used yellow American cheese rather than the white Mexican cheese. I'm all about supporting local small businesses, but I can't support this one because I just didn't like the food. I'm glad there are other people who like this restaurant, but sadly I'm not one of them.
