La Balance Cafe Mexicana

First time visiting this restaurant and it was so delicious! The service was amazing, friendly and hot food came out fast. The restaurant is beautiful and quaint. The food portions are very large and filling. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back soon to try their other dishes.

Holy Smokes! This place is a gem. High quality food, super nice staff - clean and convenient. We will absolutely be back. Breakfast burritos are huge and tasty and we've had dinner a couple of times - very good food.

Stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. From the Yelp reviews it looked promising, but my experience makes me question the authenticity of the reviews. The interior is small, but it was empty around lunch so we were easily seated. Service was really friendly. The owner (I'm guessing) brought us their 2 different menus - one with the burrito selections and the other the lunch menu. The burritos ranged in price from $8-10 and the lunch plates were $16+. We noticed that, even though this is listed as a French restaurant, the menu items were kind of all over the place. Burritos, quesadillas, burgers, chicken plates, Italian pastas, and more. But it didn't seem very French, and I've been to France for comparison.While we waited for our food, the owner told us that the restaurant had been open for about 4 years, but they really took a hit during the pandemic. He brought out our food, and some of the portions looked small to me, specifically the burrito and quesadillas. The quesadilla had 4 slices, just enough for 1 person to eat. My husband ordered the fish and chips and he said it was not good at all. The fish wasn't flaky and it was really bland. I had the chicken acapulco and it was pretty bland also. There was not much flavor to it, and the portion of the chicken seemed small to me for the price. The sauce on top of the chicken tasted like simple Alfredo sauce, nothing special. My son had the fettuccine and said it was just ok. My niece had the bacon burger and said it was good, so I think that would be a safe bet.Overall, they get 2 stars for service but I don't think I would return based on the food. I wish them well on their business though.

You can't find any people that are nicer in food service. You just want to get out of the car and hug them. The breakfast tacos are amazing.

WOW! This is incredibly fresh authentic homemade Mexican food. Everything I tried has been delicious; from the huge breakfast burritos to the Street Tacos, Crispy Tacos, Tostadas, Carne Adobada, Gorditas and Guacamole. And the bread pudding, GOODNESS! La Balance does not disappoint. Taco Tuesdays with 5 Street Tacos for $9, is a great time to try out this Jewel of a restaurant in Fulshear. Service is friendly and prompt. Just go. There is nothing here that will disappoint.

So so dirty inside !!!! I'm so surprise that they are not sure down. Due to the Covid they had so much time to replace their vents the tiles in the ceiling and clean disgusting. We tried you guys for the first time your staff not so friendly arrogant and I will never recommend I go there again!!!

Best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time. Service was quick and prices reasonable.

What a gem in Fulshear. The owner, Manuel, is an exceptional chef from a sophisticated fine dining background. He shares warm hospitality and gets to know his customers. The menu is simple and the taste and quality are top notch.

We went there today after the Mexican re launch. Great service and the food was great and not over priced. Good wine selection and good portions. We will go back for sure. Glad we have another restaurant in Fulshear. The server was great and attentive.
